I love how many tournament style matches there are in LU. They're such an easy way to make matches mean something and set up feuds in the future.

Tonight while browsing YT I saw a suggestion for a 7 minute highlight video of Aztec Warfare III. This was my first watch of any LU. I watched it and was more than impressed with it. In the recommendations of that video I saw a full match posted so I watched it. Turns out it was Hitokiri vs. Pentagon from the 11/30/16 show. Just wow. So ****ing brutal. I loved it. Even not knowing the backstory beyond what the commentators were pointing out, the ending was absolutely ****ing out of this world tremendous. Even Vampiro's reaction(s) at the end of the match and after the match were so so good. Pentagon's facials after the match. Oh. My. ****ing. God. I need more of this.

Actually watching this live tonight. Excited.

I really want to go back to like 3 episodes before the end of s2 so I can catch up to see what's happening but that seems like way too much commitment for me. Also, I want to see how the Pentagon thing played out on the next episode. I'm going to watch s3e14 tonight before sleep and then tonights episode tomorrow. Then perhaps I'll go back.

Goddamn I love this show.

That might have been my favorite episode of the season. Only other one in the discussion is the one with the Pentagon gauntlet.

I did watch s3e14 with the beginning of the bulls tournament. There was quite a bit that I didn't understand because it's where I started. It was pretty enjoyable though as the 3 matches we're really good.

I am looking forward to seeing Sexy Star vs Mundo in a cage eventually. I was hoping to get some update on Pentagon but it makes sense that he wasn't around. I felt really lost as to why Matanza was locked up and why a key held power over him. I do have to say that I love monsters like him and I just want to see him on screen the entire hour. Even not knowing how that guys cover was blown, I already find him going deeper and changing identities pretty damn interesting.

Anyhow those are random thoughts. Going to watch the latest episode later tonight and then start from the very beginning with an episode /day.

They never do "on screen" updates. You might get a backstage vignette or two. But basically you just get used to seeing each character once every three episodes or so.



Have fun. Don't be discouraged by the first few episodes. There are a few clunkers in there. You could honestly probably start at Episode 9 (Aztec Warfare 1) and not be missing too much. Or maybe the episode before that.

Carefully looked into it (because Lucha Underground spoilers are easy to mistakenly stumble upon).

Apparently WWE did have him for awhile. He was in NXT as Judas Devlin and even had an on-screen match. (It was a handicap squash match with Neville beating the team of Devlin and Scott Dawson, as laughable as that sounds)

He left because of Bill DeMott and was one of the most vocal people against his bull****.

That guy has an unbelievable look for a monster so it doesn't surprise me that pre crisis NXT gave him a hipster gimmick

He was on Big Brother during the same season as Vanessa Russo. Came off as kind of pathetic but here I am admitting I watched a season of BB.

I still haven't finished watching LU S2 though which I really need to do.

I wish they gave Sexy Star's push to Cage. That guys' unreal. Ive never seen Texano before LU but he's just so dull. I wish Cage had something better going on.
