I'll hopefully avoid the spoilers.

Non-Spoiler: LU s3 is going to be off the chain

Apparently Ultima Lucha 2 is going to be a 3 week show. This week and next week will be 1 hour shows and the last show will be 2 hours

Seems like not enough matches for 4 hours. I guess just 2 matches each for first two shows and 4 for the finale?

Anyhoo, predictions:

Ivelisse vs Taya
Taya can always stay with Johnny. I'm not sure where Ivelisse goes from here, win or lose, but it's obviously better if she wins. I really can't see this match lasting very long, which is part of why I'm confused that this is a 4 hour event.

4 a Unique Opportunity: The Mack vs Son of Havoc vs Cage vs Texano
Who knows what this "opportunity" is (certainly one with a lot of strings attacked). Cage just lost cleanly in his title shot. He'll look strong here, but not win. Is Angelico ever coming back? That trios team needs to come back together. I'm very unsure of this, but I'll pick Son of Havoc, although I would like to see them do something with Texano. They brought him in as this great AAA champion, and haven't really done anything character-wise with him.

El Dragon Azteca vs Black Lotus
Clearly the wrestling is the least important part to a story that has been basically slowly building for 2 seasons. No idea what they're going to do here. I guess I'll pick Azteca, because debuts rarely win.

Death Match: Mil Muertes vs King Cuerno

To me, this is the easiest match to predict. I can't see any way Cuerno wins this. Maybe some weird interference thing happens, but I don't see it.

Rey Mysterio vs Prince Puma

This is the classic "passing the torch" match, but I don't see it going that way. The story has been about Prince Puma and his lack of focus. Unless Rey is leaving at the end of season 2, he really can't eat a loss here and be anywhere near credible.

Gift of the Gods title match: Sexy Star vs Mariposa vs Siniestro de la Muerte vs Daga vs Marty "The Moth" Martinez vs Killshot vs Nightclaw

I'd say that Kobra Moon would help Daga (she will probably get involved), but Daga isn't credible as a character. Nobody is really except Sexy Star and Marty the Moth. I'd give it to Marty for being such an amazing character, but LU's hard-on for Sexy Star is pretty massive.

Trios title match: Jack Evans/Johnny Mundo/PJ Black vs Drago/Aerostar/Fenix

Really hoping they don't **** this up. Team Dickkick (who made up "Worldwide Underground"? that's ****ing awful) is one of the best things going for LU right now. The Superfriends are just kind of there. I know the temptation to make Fenix a Triple Crown winner is there, but please.....don't

Title match: Mantanza vs Pentagon Jr
The WWE strategy would be to give Pentagon the title now. I'm afraid they'll do that here, but they really shouldn't. Pentagon's road back still has some story left in it. The chase is always better, and it's too fast to end it now. I want Pentagon to get his title, but not right now. I'm afraid they'll blow their load though.

I'd gladly trade being spoiled on these for being able to see parts of season 3 live.

I enjoyed the Ultima Lucha Dos pre-show

I felt a little unsatisfied by the end of it though.

The first two matches were great. The finals was okay, I guess, but seemed like it was lacking something. I read somewhere today that the match was actually 2/3 falls, but was cut for time. That explains a lot of the awkwardness (especially Striker talking about countouts in a falls count anywhere match).

The surprise of Dr Wagner was....meh? I don't really know anything about him. Is he really 50 years old, or was it someone else in that character?

Certainly excited for the rest of UL2.

The ending is whatever, it's not like they're gonna have Son Of Havoc main event UL3 a year in advance, so even though it wasn't satisfying. They tied up the ongoing Famous B angle and gave Havoc something to do.

Im more sad that they didn't have something better for Cage to do.

I just wish that:

A) The opportunity wasn't a UL3 main event spot (as you said, they're never doing that)
B) It wasn't Son of Havoc that won. I want to see his trios team back together. There aren't enough legit trios teams right now. (Which makes me fear that The Dickkickers are losing their match, ugh)
