Meh, Gall absolutely couldn't take any chances in this fight. He won the career lotto by being hand selected to fight a fan from the stands who had 2 years to train with no prior experience and now he's a name.

Oh I think it's hilarious when those idiots get trampled or gored by the Bulls. I also don't equate running with the Bulls with fighting in UFC. Training to and then getting into a ring to fight another human being is no way close to just lacing up a pair of sneakers, putting a red bandana around your neck and running from a stampede of bulls.

Still tho, punk can't face a ju jitsu guy atm since he's gonna get sub'd like every time. Gall is now 3/3 with RNC's. I doubt Punk's camp realized they needed to spend every single second on the ground in training defending that realizing that's what Gall's gonna do and he's gonna do it to everyone until he gets to a level it won't work.

Gonna laugh if Punk gets a UFC fight again but really, he'd get snap signed by even bellator for the ratings so they might keep him and just find some random 0-whatever guy to fight him on a prelim (Bellator has had arguably just as bad circus main events)

If Punk gets another UFC fight, it's likely to be on the preshow. If he wins, he'll get back to the main card.

Didn't see it live but saw unspoiled. I admire Punk for taking the challenge, putting two years of his life to it, and following through when he knew he was a huge underdog and that everyone was rooting for him to fail. It was great to see him get utterly destroyed. I know there's a slight weight and skill differential but let's sign Brock vs. Punk!

Dana White has said that Punk will not fight in the UFC again in spite of having a multi-fight contract.

And losing here would hurt him way more than winning would help. Result doesn't really matter for Punk at all, but Gall losing would be career-ending.

You'd have to be a completely delusional buffoon who think's unfathomably highly of his own self worth and abilities to think that you would have more than a snowflake's chance in hell against a remotely legitimate professional fighter as a 35 year old non athlete attempting to transfer from pro wrestling to pro MMA with 0 previous combat sports experience.
