I enjoyed the youtube videos leading up to this, the promo before the match, the entrances and fight, and postmatch promos. What a beatdown and it looked like he was taking it easy on him as well. I'll probably turn into Gall's next fight after this.

OMG Del Rio is cashing in on Mickey Gall!!!

He might not ever be a successful UFC fighter, but I find it hard to not respect a guy who dedicates 2 years of his life to try something hes never done before. Not only that but to do it front of millions of people on a UFC main event card takes some courage. Sometimes u just fail miserably in the end but im not gonna dog someone for taking a shot at a dream he had.

Was hoping for some standup and striking. Sadly that p*ssy Gall didn't have the balls to trade offence and give the crowd a real fight. Going for a takedown straight from the bell ensured a borefest. After 2 minutes of humping CM Punk on the mat the fight's over with no action whatsoever to speak of. Millions of wrestling fans around the world were paying attention to UFC tonight - how many of them will become UFC fans after that sh*tfest? Virtually none I would wager. I reckon Dana White will be regretting putting that dumb jock in the ring with his special attraction. "Amma go into a glorified exhibition match against a 37 year old celebrity amateur in front of a huge audience and amma gone win the fight in the most boring manner possible." What a d*ck.

Dude, you know what happens right after the heel pulls the face's shoulders up after the two-count.

It also ensured a win. He was probably 90% sure he could win a standup fight, but 99% sure he could win a submission match. So he chose to get the "easy" win to pad his record and move up the rankings.

That was fantastic. I look forward to more CM Punk MMA fights.
