Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread
A lot of over thinking going on in this thread.
Team Black win the YouTube match
Tyson Kidd wins SD MITB (he's getting a big push, and if things don't pan out he could always just be the first to cash in and lose)
Cena wins Raw MITB
Bryan beats Punk with the help of AJ, Cena cashes in at the end of the night setting up a triple threat match for the WWE championship at SS.

Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread
Is this big push actually happening in front of a significant number of viewers? Kidd won once on SD, once on Raw, and that's it, isn't it?
I don't 100% dismiss the possibility of him winning, but I do think it's pretty unlikely, and I think this "big push" that more than one person has discussed has not actually happened. A push on a jobber show like Superstars or NXT isn't a "big push" when discussing whether someone's getting a legit world title opportunity.

Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread
who the **** goes from no singles titles (and spending 95% of the last 2 years on superstars) to the whc? every mitb winner has at least had the IC/US/ECW title before getting the case, and you guys are nuts if you think kidd is going to be the one to break that streak.

If you want to be real technical, you can also see punk going over here and have just straight up Punk Cena for SS.
Either way, if cena wins the briefcase, I think he will be the first person that DOESN"T win the title from it.

Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread
What is this "big Tyson Kidd push" people seem to be talking about? He beat Tensai on a fluke and then Swagger. In both cases, the focus seemed to be on who lost rather than Kidd.
Before those wins, he was getting his ass kicked by Damien Sandow. And before that, lol.
It's a modest push, sure, but nothing more than that. Not exactly the resume of a future MITB winner.
The odds of Kidd winning aren't zero (and they're better than Sin Cara's chances), but they're damned close.

Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread
My picks...
1. You Ghana Die over **** the INS
2. Sheamus over Del Rio
3. John Cena wins Raw MITB.
4. Bryan over Punk
5. Ziggler wins SD MITB.

Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread
Thoughts on possibility Punk/Bryan goes the route of "AJ takes accidental bump, 2nd referee run-in, still no one knows who AJ's with" angle?

My thoughts exactly. Though to be honest, if they're just going to job Bryan out to Cena at Summerslam, or worse, after he beats Punk, I'd rather have Punk win.

Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread
I think it does a LOT for Bryan to get a WWE Title reign, even a short one, and to be the defending champion at the #2 PPV of the year.
I continue to fully advocate transitioning the belt over to Cena, but I'd like it to go through Bryan.

Okay, I didn't know this but that pretty much confirms that Tyson Kidd's recent two wins are less a "huge push" than they are just a credibility-builder to justify having him be in this match at all.

Could really see Santino winning and losing on his cash-in since it wouldn't hurt him too much, plus the crowd would go ape**** if he wins just the briefcase anyway. Call me crazy, first time we see two faces win in Cena and Santino
