Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread

I'm going to go the non-obvious booking here.

SD MITB: Ziggler grabs the case

ADR Vs Sheamus Sheamus Wins, but loses to Ziggler that night.

Raw MITB: Show Wins.

Punk Over Bryan, Gets punched out by show at the end, but he doesn't cash in the MITB Cuts Prono "because he can win the belt whenever he wants to".

Longer term booking:
Have Cena win some stupid royal or #1 contender's match ( beat the clock?) and have Show KTFO Cena after he wins the title against Punk at Summerfest, starting a Show heel title run. From there you have Punk who wants his rematch for his title, Cena who wants HIS rematch, and Show for a Triple threat at Night of Champions.

Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread

youtube match: team black > team mexican

SD MITB:

my guess: barrett taking out kidd and winning seems like a very legit possibility. absent that i'm going with rhodes. i have to imagine there's something to vickie's look @ tensai that'll develop some conflict and some stupid feud between ziggler and tensai that leads to ziggler going face with vickie turning on him for tensai or something of the like

raw MITB: seriously, 4 ****ing people and only 1 of them can wrestle. yea, cena can when someone's carrying him, but he can't carry matches. only jericho can. they've been pushing cena so hard to win this on tv that there's seemingly no way cena can actually be booked to win it. given jericho's contract status it's unlikely he wins and given kane just blows and it's the raw MITB it's unlikely he wins. i guess that leaves big show. seems weird but i guess it could make sense. show wins, cashes on punk or bryan, leads to show v cena where cena wins and carries.

WHC: i'm guessing ADR. not really sure on this at all, but they're trying to adjust ADR's character so he's got a lot more edge/agression to him and it seems pointless to do that and have it squashed by sheamus. locks in the armbar and sheamus passes out or adr wins dirty.

WWE: AJ turns on punk and bryan wins. i really can't imagine any other way this can go without just ending the program altogether, and since it's the first time they've been actually been able to spotlight punk/bryan in the main event rather than burying them into the opening of the 2nd hour or curtain jerker, i would imagine they don't want this ending anytime soon either

Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread

Punk and Bryan knock each other out, AJ pins Punk and declares herself new WWE Champion.

Somebody floated the idea of AJ going with Jericho. The possibility of Jericho winning MITB and then AJ helping him cash in on either one of these guys does seem plausible to me.

Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread

Well the dirt sheets keep being wrong about Jericho, so I'm done trusting them on this. First he was going to disappear after WrestleMania...he didn't. Then the flag incident was going to be the end of him. It wasn't. Once they realized he was coming back, they decided he was coming back as a babyface. He didn't. All of the info keeps being wrong.

Since Jericho can obviously still go, I just don't see anything solid that really indicates that he's leaving anytime soon.

AJ saying she was leaving with her future husband on Raw and then nothing specifically coming of that (on-camera) tells me that she's in cahoots with an outside party that isn't Punk or Bryan. By the end of tomorrow night, we may know who her kayfabe future husband is. Jericho seems a great candidate to me.

Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread

jericho + aj + title could be GOAT. i'm all for it

the only problem with it i see is where does that leave bryan. summerslam i would assume would be triple threat but after that it would have to be jericho v punk in a program and bryan the runt without a tit

Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread

Step 1: AJ turns on Punk, helps Bryan win the title.
Step 2: AJ waffles Bryan with the title belt when feigning like she's going to hand it to him.
Step 3: Jericho comes out and cashes in on Bryan.

Bryan turns face as a result, he and Punk both have a rematch to cash in on against Jericho, the three battle at SummerSlam in a triple threat for the title.

I don't love the "Bryan turns face" part at all, but you know that's happening sooner or later.

Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread

I mean maybe he is leaving soon. I've just seen enough misinformation that I only want to give the rumor mill so much weight on that point.

In any case I really hope they do the Raw MITB before they do the Bryan-Punk match to leave open the possibility I'm talking about. If Raw MITB goes on last, you all but know that it's just Cena going over in a dull match with a dull finish. Not that I'm against Cena winning that match really, but I just want there to be some unpredictability to it.

You are overthinking it.

She also phrased it as "I will leave with who the WWE universe thinks should be my husband" too, so the answer is "neither" and it all hangs together anyway.

No, that's not how she phrased it.
