Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread

That Smackdown MITB match looks more like a jobber battle royal.I guess Cody winning would be the only thing that kinda makes sense.

The "ambush participant and take his spot" device is, and always has been, 100% idiotic.

Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread

I know it's a long shot but I'm predicting Tyson Kidd wins the SD MITB. WWE likes to take a shot with the SD match and give it to someone who we don't really expect like Swagger and D-Bry.

I don't know, Edge managed to pulled it off very well at No Way out 2009, but then again, that was part of his gimmick and character. But yeah, most of those kinda sucks.

But it doesn't make any sense intellectually. I beat up somebody so bad that he can't compete, therefore I get his spot? That's mind numbingly stupid.

Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread

Actually I think Tyson Kidd is going to take the SD MITB too. He has been on a push trying to win over the crowd and pick up some wins and he has an instant feud coming out of the tourney with Albert. They can also have Wade win the case off him if he doesnt get over like they want. Rhodes and Ziggler would be great winners but they dont need the case to get a title shot against Sheamus (which Ziggler recently proved). If Cena is gonna Cena I expect them to want the Smackdown case to be held for a long time like Bryan did last year so it makes a lot of sense to put it on Kidd in that scenario. I also think if Sandow had debuted 6 months earlier he would pretty much be a lock so its hard to entirely discount him even though he is really really green.

I really want, but dont expect, to see Big Show go over in the Raw MITB and Bryan to win the WWE title. I would love to revisit that feud from earlier in the year but with entirely new dynamics in play.

Predictions:
Team Black over Team Brown
Tyson Kidd Smackdown MitB
John Cena Raw MitB
Sheamus to retain
CM Punk to retain

Unannounced matches that probably happen:
The Ryback over Reks and Hawkins
Slater jobbing to someone old
Funkasaurus goes over someone we dont care about and probably havent seen in ages, does JTG still have a job?

Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread

Cody wins SD, but let's be quiet about it. Might turn in to a Jericho at RR thing. Ziggler feuds with albert over Vickie.
Big Show wins Raw in what goes down as the worst match in MITB history.
Sheamus retains.
Punk/Bryan could go either way I guess.

Re: Money in the Bank PPV Thread

I think I've finally figured it out. Last year's MITB had the best ending to a PPV in years. This year's MITB is going to have trouble competing with that so they really aren't going to try, instead they are going to have the worst ending to a PPV ever. Cena is going to win the Raw MITB match. Punk/Bryan will main event, Bryan will have Punk in the Yes Lock and AJ will call for the bell without Punk taping, thus siding with Bryan. Punk will start to walk to the back defeated when . Punk will then encourage Cena to face Bryan, and finally Cena agrees. Cena then hits Bryan with the AA and wins the match becoming the new WWE Champion, it'll be just like the ending to Wrestlemania 9.
