From what I recall, he was a drug user back then and didn't remember what happened.

As awful as Tamina is in the ring, I do feel really bad for her. Her father is probably going to prison for murder. That has to be tough to deal with.

I thought this was old news. I guess you've never heard the claim that Vince told Snuka to play dumb and pretend he didn't understand English while Vince talked to the cops.

Yes, the death is old news (32 years old). But he was charged yesterday.

I desperately want this to be true and I desperately want Snuka to roll on Vince and for **** to a REALLY hit the fan

OT, but I don't think the coconut shot was all that legit. Pretty likely it was a gimmicked one he pulled out of the bag last. Piper never dropped that one on the table and the one he waffled Snuka with busted apart easily.

Back on topic, I think Jimmy is really likely to be responsible for her death. Whether he'll get convicted this long after the fact is a different story. Probably not.

A story written in the Allentown newspaper about the case revitalized it so to speak. A judge ordered the case to a grand jury who agreed to reopen the case.

I read second hand that in Snuka's book he all but said that Vince entered the police station with a briefcase full of money to give to a DA and then the case was quietly swept under the rug. Snuka all but admitted this in his book, while not admitting to the actual murder.

fwiw I knew about this case for a long time, I guess just getting into a wiki black hole at some point. The way the newspaper story read and the story back then he seems pretty guilty. 72 years old and stomach cancer, can't imagine the stress of this case coming back to life will help him stick around too much longer.

Hypocritical for sure, but moreso on the taking Hogan out side. He's forever linked with WW(F)E. Does anyone think he won't be back in a little bit of time? If they wanted to fire him, take him off TV, fine. You put him in the HoF for a reason, and that hasn't changed.

Vince probably wants to tread really lightly on the Snuka stuff. He and the organization as a whole are going to be center-stage in this as it moves forward. It will be interesting to see how much comes out about how much Vince really was involved in this when it first happened.

The way Piper used to tell it (and he's a bit of an embellisher I believe so who knows - also said he gave himself a concussion on purpose during the steroid trial via an Undertaker piledriver he purposely put his head too low for), Snuka had no idea it was coming and was legit pissed and concussed after he waffled him.
