Is it true that John Morrison quit the WWE because he got a better offer from Harvard to learn his amazing knowledge of Physics? His ability to slow down time during his entrances was amazing! He should of used that ability in his matches, or at least during Melina's "splits" entrances.

How could anyone ever argue that Hulk Hogan is not the greatest of all time after seeing that? He jumped right up after a tombstone.. A freakin tombstone!!

+1

The best thing about Hogan is that he achieved everything he ever got through his own hard work. He even gave away the secrets to his success, I've been saying my prayers and taking my vitamins for the last 25 years and I think I've turned out pretty well;

Spoiler:

That aint nothing, the Ultimate Warrior stood up about 1 second after HHH gave him the pedigree at WM12.
That match proved how confident HHH was back then, he didn't want to start at the bottom at his first wreslemania, he immediattly went after the Ultimate Warrior, if this match happened today HHH would win easily, he is much bigger and stronger which makes the pedigree a much more dangerous move.

The Ultimate Warrior has beaten Hulk Hogan, Macho Man and HHH at Wrestlemania, surely that makes him the GOAT? I have no idea why he isn't in the Hall of Fame, it's not fair.

If they do I hope the original Warriors wife or family member will accept the honors, the second and third warrior were not the same.

On the subject of Hogan/Warrior, one thing that Hogan doesn't get enough credit for is the way he showed tremendous character and resiliency to pick up the win in the long-awaited rematch with the Warrior. This is a man who spent 8 years living in the Warrior's shadow, with everyone telling him he just wasn't good enough to beat the Ultimate one. Then in one of the most highly-anticipated rematches of all time, and a true mat-classic, Hogan finally picked up the victory he had waited almost a decade for, in spite of setting off a fireball in his own face.

What a character, what a wrestler, what a man.

As we all know the Ultimate Warrior is from another planet, does anyone know if his planet is near planet Funk where Funkasauri are found?

Also the reason Warrior was able to kick out of the Pedigree is because the family that he lives for only breathes the air that smells of combat. Long story short, that is what made him the best wrestler of all time.

But Hogan beat him, after setting off a FIREBALL in his own FACE.

Warrior may be the second greatest of all time, but come on.

Guys, Ernest Miller consistently called himself The Greatest. And, we all know wrestling is real. Everything they say is therefore real. This means that Ernest Miller is, in fact, the greatest.

Case closed.

You guys are forgetting that Hogan should have been DQ'd for using a fireball in the match and having his nephew hit Warrior with a chair. Warrior is really 2-0 over him and is undisputed greatest of all time. He has kicked out of a Hogan leg drop, A HHH pedigree and 5 consecutive Macho Man elbows, anyone who disagrees about his number 1 spot is a fool.

Wrestling is real, can't argue with that. But some wrestlers do lie and are bad people, Earnest Miller on the other hand I think was just slightly deluded and really believed that. There is a difference between what is real and what is the Truth, the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth.

I don't think Hulk ever forgave Savage for turning on him and trying to take his title at Wrestlemania 5.

All you really have to do is watch Hogan/HBK to witness the AWESOME POWER of Hulkamania. Shawn was bouncing around like a pinball from the devastating effect of Hogan's offense.

I bet if Vince McMahon wasn't a dick and screwed Bret out of the title, he would have never left WWF to go to WCW and get his brain wrecked by Goldberg (who was awesome, btw). Hell, Bret would probably still be the WWF/E Champion.

Oh man, don't tell me you're one of those "they know how to fall" guys?

It's quite obvious that Hulk Hogan was able to recover so fast because all of the Hulkamaniacs prayed that he would and that energy was transferred to Hulk. That's why Hulk always thanked the Hulkamaniacs, they were the true core of his strength in the face of adversity.

It's really unfortunate that we the fans took for granted the Hulkster in the 1990's and he left for the NWO. If we'd have just stayed with him through the years AJ wouldn't be lying in a hospital bed hanging on for her life right now, because Hogan would have ended The Giant's career the same way he ended his father's long before this terrible tragedy occurred.

I have no idea what you're talking about. The ref thought he tapped out, called for the bell, end of story. Refs make mistakes all the time, you saw that match where Jack Swagger didn't really get pinned, right?

Actually, that brings up a good point. I wish WWE would institute instant replay for those really close fall/no fall decisions. It seems like, with the technology available today, and with so much riding on the decision, that they'd be able to take a second look at mistakes like that.

So did Kanyon, so I'm confused.

Warrior used Hogans leather strap belt before Hogan did anything wrong, and I believe that led to Hogan snapping and wanting to burn Warriors face.
I'm surprised Hogan and his nephew didn't finish off the job after dozing Warrior with lighter fluid.

They did use replay one time, I believe it was during the Gorilla Monsoon Presidential era, he used replay to DQ HHH against Duke the Dumpster, that's what I loved about Gorilla Monsoon he was very innovative. If he were around today HHH would be lucky to be carrying around a broomstick instead of a sledge hammer.

In normal cases a Tombstone is an auto-knockout, Rest In Piece. Maybe since this match was early in his career, UT hadn't quite perfected his finisher yet. In other words, The Hulkster got extremely lucky here (in my humble estimation).

Instant replay in the pros is a fine idea.

Yes. You can clearly see that Hogan puts his knees on the Undertaker's shoulder. So his knees absorb most of the impact, not his head. Pure genius in my opinion and one of the many reasons why he is the greatest of all time.
