I kinda like what they're doing overall the last few weeks if they don't just reboot and turn everyone in another month. Eli Drake makes me laugh, kind of like a cheap knock off version of the Rock would.
If the Hardys rip on the Wyatts/WWE for ripping them off, I think Game of Thrones might have a beef about the Walk of Shame.
In the latest chapter, Broken Matt Hardy pulled a fan out of the stands and bit his face off tonight. I never thought I'd actually be changing the channel TO the Hardys.
The thing that makes this character so great is that he's so dedicated to it and actually tries to protect it outside the ring. We obviously know this is an act, but the Hardy's have had enough of their self-inflicted insanity BS over the last decade that it makes it easier to buy in when he's always in character.
You have to at least appreciate the effort. Even the Undertaker is less protective of the character these days. We may not have seen something this crazy since Pillman.
This is obviously all scripted and the first part of the interview he seems to try to hard and almost falls out of character, but the last three minutes or so are great
Last Impact, the fans were chanting "Obsolete" while Brother Nero sang along to his own theme song. The fans want to cheer the Hardys because Broken Matt Hardy is the greatest thing in professional wrestling this year.
They're really the exact opposite of Vince. He refuses to budge on what he wants no matter what the fans think. They ruin a good thing with instant gratification all the time. Play it out for at least 6 months to a year with him as a heel in the main event picture. Let him accumulate a few followers then do a big turn angle.
