I think less of the Attitude Era than most and I missed a 3 year chunk of Austin's prime years, but Tsuruta had a 26 year amazing career. His greatest feuds are definitely with Misawa and Tenryu, but he fought about everyone during that time and had great matches with Stan Hansen, the Funks, Nick Bockwinkel, Harley Race, and of course the other well-known Japanese wrestlers. I have Tsuruta in my top 10 of all-time probably.

Despite my love for Jumbo I couldn't justify putting him over Austin. Jumbo was the man during the transition period of 87-89 where it went from being an armlock or a headlock for most of the match to the spotfests we know and love today and adapted as wrestling changed. Jumbo vs Tenryu on 6/5/89 and Jumbo vs Misawa on 6/8/90 are two of my favorite matches and probably in the top 5 for matches i've watched the most in the past year. Jumbo is most definitely a top 10 wrestler though.

Austin pretty much created the attitude era which kicked off the most awesome period of wrestling ever. He also made it fun again and he gave me a reason to tune in every Monday/Friday/PPV.

looks like Inoki's time is up itt so i post the greatest match ever...maybe.

Inoki vs Great Antonio. At around the 4:15 mark the Great One decides it would be a good idea to stop selling Inoki's moves and then try to beat him in a real fight so he starts hitting him for real...Inoki was not impressed.

Probably gonna tilt people with these but I'm not putting as much weight on in-ring ability as others appear to be doing:

HBK is the most overrated of all time (that is not to say I don't like his work; you can be awesome and still be overrated). Yeah, he was a fantastic worker but was poor on the mic imo (to the point where I actually deducted him points for his mic work) and was never the top draw. He is also a dick IRL which I shouldn't take into consideration but may have done subconsciously. Harley Race on the other hand is the ****ing man.

Angle/Eddie was extremely close and I'm not 100% happy with my vote but went with Angle. I can see votes for Jumbo, Misawa, and I guess Sting. Thesz, Hart and Inoki were easy choices.
