God it would be horrible if a 50 year old man who hasn't been in the ring in over a decade beats Lesnar. Don't know that they can put Goldberg down clean either.
The one thing I will say about this match is that has horrible as it has the potential to be, it seems to be bringing back some lapsed fans, so they better pick up the quality of the rest of the show to get those people interested in returning next week.
Having Goldberg be the one to break Lesnar's streak would be beyond stupid. He's been booked as an unstoppable monster since 2014, with Cena, Taker, Orton, Reigns, Rollins, and Ambrose unable to even come close to beating him. (If you haven't noticed, that's all of the top tier guys in WWE). Wasting Lesnar's loss on a part-timer who hasn't wrestled in 12 year makes zero sense.
(Because we're talking about the WWE here, that doesn't necessarily rule out a Goldberg win).
I said this in another thread, but if there goal for Mania is Lesnar/Shane, then I think there is a really good chance we see Goldberg win because of interference from Shane
Seems more like it'll be Randy vs. Brock at WM. Just look at how they're building Orton up now! ok, last part was sarcasm but first part is what I'm thinking.

Shane O Mac vs Lesnar at WM? Is this storyline brewing and I missed it or just a projection for a match?
Plus I have heard others say it to. Obviously things can change between now and then, but having Lesnar F5 him and then following it up the way they did points in that direction. I guess they could change it up and have Shane bring someone in to face him at Mania like Shinsuke or Jor
I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with you, but I would think there would be a better way to debut someone on the main roster than this. What do they do the next night with him. Causing either Goldberg or Lesnar the match is a dead end for someone debuting. Goldberg is a one off most likely and Lesnar won't be back until January most likely
The way Goldberg sort of described it as an old guy with one more fight in him I think we get the "noble effort" type deal with him losing in the end. However, if he's wrestling more than once then I reserve the right to change my opinion.
