How is this not our winner? Except for that fluke Tag Title reign M.O.M. had for 1 day, not a single champion, nor former champion of ANY belt at the time on that card. There must have been some serious cancellations/travel issues with no Bret Hart/Diesel/HBK/Razor Ramon on that card

Actually that exact card happened four times, although the first two were missing the bonus main event. I figured that made the card even worse though.

Not to minimize how bad that card was because holy ****, but King of the Ring was something of a title I guess. Mabel was being pushed as the top heel in the company back then. 1995 was a dark time.

And yet they can't even put him over Savio Vega clean at a goddamn houseshow.

1995 crappiness is illustrated fantastically by the 1995 Rumble entrants:

Headliners:

HBK
Lex Luger (past the prime of his push, soon to be gone)

Upper Mid Carders:

Owen Hart (eliminated after 3 seconds)
Bob Backlund (eliminated after 16 seconds)
British Bulldog
Smoking Gunns

Washed up:

Rick Martel
Dick Slater
King Kong Bundy

The Dross:

Headshrinkers
Eli Blu
Jacob Blu
Duke the Dumpster
Doink
Heavenly Bodies
Kwang
Bushwackers
Well Dunn
Men on a Mission
Mantaur
Henry Godwinn
Aldo Montoya
Adam Bomb
Crush

It's clear that this win, likely above all others, clinched Koko B. Ware's HOF induction.

The 8 year old version of me (which I was in 1991) would have probably enjoyed this card quite immensely. Though I'm sure seeing no Hogan, or Savage may have ruined my day.

Greg Valentine in mid-1994? Didn't he leave the WWF in like mid-1991?

Looking at the card it barely looks like a WWF card. It looks like something run by an indy with a talent exchange agreement with WWF and WWF loaned a few of its names (Slaughter, Backlund) to the show and let them use the label.

So I decided to google "The Mighty Doom wrestler" to see who the heck that was, and it returned a bunch of stuff that made no sense.

So I decided, OK, I'll google "Little Leopard wrestler" instead.

Also no relevant results, but I did run across this link: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/israeli-...n-his-bedroom/

Rumors that the Israeli guy is going to face Undertaker at Wrestlemania cannot be confirmed at this time.

It was posted on historyofwwe.com as a house show. I do remember they would do spot shows in the summer in small east coast towns.

Incredible to not only be reminded of Mo but also have him in the singles main event. Bonus for Rad Radford. I would be excited to see the Davey Boy vs Bam Bam; diamond ring in a pile of dung.
