Am I the only one who thinks that when a wrestler turns from face to heel or vice versa, his gimmick automatically changes by definition?

Well, if announcers (like JR) and GMs/Commissioners/etc. (like Dario Cueto) were picked, I got to think managers are fair game. I think a certain advocate of Bork was already picked in this draft.

Lots of wrestlers go from heel to anti-hero and their only real change is the alignment of most of their rivals. That isn't a gimmick change.

An alignment change is the most frequent cause of a gimmick change, but it's not as simple as babyface Conquistador #2 being different than heel Conquistador #2 because the alignment descriptor changed.

Mangers are drafted separate. As for heel turn/face turn being a different gimmick, I really think it's a case by case situation. Also my board currently looks very similar to Syria.

PG DX was awful and was only over for nostalgia reasons. Born-again HBK will only do PG DX. PG DX with no nostalgia will fail miserably.

I mean, basically the whole reason that DX worked was because it was an extension of Shawn Michaels's actual personality at the time. It wouldn't make any sense with that rendition of Shawn that you have, where his whole thing was just to wink and nod about what a cheeky young man he once was.

Anyway, the pick still seems fine, though if you're running DX then you're probably better off having them face off with goody-two-shoes Michaels instead of including him.
