Wrestling isn't all about bumps and work rate. My next selection won't be doing much of either.

But sometimes you just need an elite mic worker to tell a story and get people invested in a match. This guy does it better than anyone. He's also an outstanding booker and has a very good handle on what will work and won't work in professional wrestling.

Orton was the bland guy I was referring to who is like Zayn but better. I would've probably taken him if he made the wrap, and I find him and undrafted as by far the most boring and overrated guys of the modern era since I've watched.

You've gotten years of C-quality Orton then; some of his earlier work (both as Legend Killer and early UNDRAFTED) are much much better.

Frankly, modern Orton suffers from sort of the same malaise as modern Cena.

He's got a good look, has a ridiculously over finisher, and can talk well enough when given the opportunity. Without the fatigue of being there for a decade, he's ideal for 2017.
