Best Federation Write-Ups and Weekly Shows

This will be the thread where we post the write-ups and plans for our federation. Some people like myself and others have said they plan on writing some show for our fed so you can do that here. We might do a tournament later after everyone's write-ups are done to see who has the "best" federation.

Re: Best Federation Write-Ups and Weekly Shows

I'll go ahead and mention now that I have no plan to do write ups of fantasy booking shows. I will, however, once I'm done drafting, put down my plan for my entire roster, as well as a business plan that would in this fake world make me the number one promotion in the US.

Re: Best Federation Write-Ups and Weekly Shows

Episode #1 of Texas Championship Wrestling:

Show opens with Stephanie McMahon walking down to the ring with a large amount of boos from the crowd.

Stephanie McMahon: After recent events TCW is left without a heavyweight champion. I have decided that I will hand pick the next champion. And he is none other than...

Big Show comes down to the ring and the crowd erupts in a chorus of boos.

Big Show: Steph you have clearly made the right decision. I am the perfect man to be not only the champion, but the face of TCW. I look forward to making you and TCW as a whole very proud. I am going to be the most...

Out comes Shane McMahon to a very big crowd reactions.

Shane McMahon: Not so fast Steph, did you forget that you only own 50% of TCW? You can't just hand pick who our next champion will be. We will be holding a tournament to determine the new heavyweight champion. We will run a series of qualifying matches, and at the PPV at the end of the month we will crown a new TCW heavyweight champion.

Segment ends with Stephanie and Big Show both looking very angry as Shane exits the ring.

Goldberg vs. Job Ber

Goldberg wins the match in 20 seconds after a spear and jackhammer. Cole and Tenay both put over how dominate Goldberg looked. Tenay mentions that Goldberg didn't even break a sweat.

Cole starts to talk about the tournament being held when Paul Bearer comes out to the ring.

Paul Bearer: TCW has laughed at me for the last time. I am going to destroy each and every person here, and I'm starting with you Ultimate Warrior. I have a surprise for you. You talk about the Warrior nation and all of the fans, well we'll see where they are in a few weeks. TCW as you know it will never be the same.

Cole and Tenay question what Bearer was talking about. Tenay say's he isn't sure, but if he thinks we will find out very soon.

Championship Qualifier Match: Kurt Angle vs. Albert

Albert comes out first to a very quite crowd reactions. The fans that do make a sound mostly boo. Next comes Angle to an enormous pop. Albert starts off the match on the offensive until Angle counters one of his moves and hits three German suplexes in a row. Angle then locks in the ankle-locks and Albert is forced to tap. After the match Angle reaches for a microphone.

Kurt Angle: I will not rest until I am champion. I will do whatever it takes to once again have that belt around my waist, oh it's true, it's damn true.

After coming back from commercial Stephanie is seen standing in the ring.

Stephanie McMahon: My brother may have made this tournament but I will not let this belt fall in the hands of a delinquent. This is a prestigious title that should not be held by someone like CM Punk. Punk will never be champion, in fact he won't even get a qualifying match.

CM Punk: Steph I get it, I'm the exact type of person you hate. I won't just kiss your ass like Big Slow to get to the top. And unfortunately for you I'm not just going to go away, you're going to have to deal with me for a long time, and on top of that, I'm going to be the next TCW champion.

Stephanie McMahon: Never Punk, you will never be...

Shane McMahon: Steph, Steph, Steph, when are you going to learn? We both own 50% of this company and I have decided that CM Punk will in fact have a qualifying match.

Stephanie McMahon: You... you can't do that!

CM Punk: Sorry Steph, looks like you might have to put up with me for a little longer.

Stephanie McMahon Fine you can have your qualifying match, but you won't survive it. You're opponent is Viscera, and the special guest referee will be the Big Show!

CM Punk: Stephanie you can try to stack the odds against me all you want, but in the end I will prove like I always do that I am truly the Best In The World!

Championship Qualifier Match: Batista (with Randy Orton and Gorgeous George vs. Jon Moxley

Batista hits Moxley with a Batista Bomb for the win after Moxley is distracted by George and Orton. After the match Batista, Orton and George enter the ring. George sprays Moxley with some perfume as Orton kicks him out of the ring.

Randy Orton: What you see here is the evolution of professional wrestling. You have the greatest wrestling of all time Gorgeous George, the man who put wrestling on the map. You have the animal Batista, an unstoppable monster, and you have me, the apex predator. Evolution is the most dominate force in professional wrestling, and after the PPV at the end of the month we will have championship gold.

Championship Qualifier Match: CM Punk vs. Viscera with Special Guest Referee The Big Show

The match stars with Viscera dominating Punk. Big Show is very bias and is allowing Viscera to get away with a lot. Mid way through the match Viscera swings at Punk, and Punk counters with a kick to the back of the head. Punk starts to get some offense in when Big Show grabs a chair. Big Show swings the chair at Punk but misses and hits Viscera. Punk then kicks the chair into Big Show's face, knocking out Big Show. Punk climbs to the top rope and hits Viscera with an elbow drop. Shan McMahon quickly sprints down to the ring and counts the 1-2-3. Stephanie then comes out from the back and is visibly disgusted. The show ends with Shane raising Punk's hand as Big Show and Stephanie look on angrily from the outside of the ring.

Ha that's a pretty entertaining read; I hope most of the Federations do something like this.

Re: Best Federation Write-Ups and Weekly Shows

Definitely a good first write-up. I'll be doing this too; I just have to get my last five picks in and then figure out how I'm going to stagger my company out to work best for the long-term.

Re: Best Federation Write-Ups and Weekly Shows

Thanks guys. I decided to start my write-ups mid way through my federation's existence, because writing about Gorgeous George holding on to the belt for 5 years and beating local jobbers isn't as much fun as writing an attitude era type show. I plan on writing at least one show per week, hopefully others will write shows too.

Re: Best Federation Write-Ups and Weekly Shows

So what's the back story behind the vacancy of the belt then?

In Kayfabe TCW was recently purchased by Shane and Stephanie. After purchasing the company the both have a different idea of the direction they wanted to take the company, the former champion didn't like the new ownership so he left leaving TCW without a champion.

Note to self: start my first episode by having Dylan's former champion drop his title belt in a garbage can.

Re: Best Federation Write-Ups and Weekly Shows

Episode One: LWA Overdrive

Tony Schiavone and Bob Caudle welcome us to the inaugural episode of LWA Overdrive. Schiavone informs us that among other great action, we will be seeing the first semifinal match in the LWA Tag Team Title Tournament, but that the big story tonight was going to be the main event, a 10-man over-the-top-rope battle royal to determine who would face off for the World Title.

Tag Team Title Semifinals: The Eliminators v. The Sheepherders (w/ The Grand Wizard)
After a hard-fought battle with several near-falls, The Eliminators hit Total Elimination on Luke Williams and Saturn pins him for three-count. The Eliminators move onto the finals and will vie to become the first LWA Tag Team Champions.
Winners: The Eliminators

Peter Maivia v. Subb Missions
Maivia executes a dominating squash over Missions, eventually finishing him off by inducing him to tap out to the Stump Puller.
Winner: Peter Maivia

King Tonga (w/ The Grand Wizard) v. Tommy Mineral
This one was all King Tonga, as he violently slammed Tommy Mineral from pillar to post throughout the match. He only ever stopped to threaten referee Tommy Young a couple of times. Tonga eventually puts Mineral’s lights out with a savate kick and scores the victory.
Winner: King Tonga

Sunny promo
Sunny heads to the ring to the sounds of “I Know You Want Me.” She insults the ugly women in the audience, then assures the men that she understands; it’s the best they can do after all, as they’ll never get with the likes of her. She says she knows what real men are like, and is about to bring two of them out who are going to be the first LWA Tag Team Champions…

The Steiner Brothers (w/ Sunny) v. Matt Shoulders and C. Ying Lites
The Steiners put on an impressive display, much to Sunny’s enthusiastic applause. Rick Steiner hits Shoulders with a bulldog from the second turnbuckle, and pins him for a two-count before arrogantly pulling him up. He then tags in Scott, who executes a Frankensteiner to perfection and mercifully ends things by holding Shoulders down for the three-count.
Winners: The Steiner Brothers

Mean Gene Okerlund interviews The Grand Wizard
The Grand Wizard cuts a promo promising that despite the fact that he doesn’t have a horse in the impending battle royal for the title, he is going to debut a monster next week who will change the face of wrestling forever.

10-Man Battle Royal Qualifier for LWA World Heavyweight Title Match: Ric Flair, Pedro Morales, Bob Backlund, Antonio Inoki, Chief Jay Strongbow, Jerry “The King” Lawler, Paul Orndorff, “Dirty” Dick Murdoch, Ron Simmons, and Dan Spivey
It is announced before the match that the final two men in the ring will face off in a one-on-one match for the LWA World Heavyweight Title.

Spivey goes out early at the hands of Backlund. Morales and Strongbow strike a brief alliance and eliminate Murdoch, but Flair eliminates Strongbow from behind as well when Murdoch goes out. Lawler has Simmons set up on the turnbuckle on the opposite corner, and manages after a running start to finally knock him out to the floor. Lawler then backs into Inoki, and they come to blows; Inoki gets the advantage and tosses Lawler to the outside, eliminating him.

Half of the field is gone. LWA’s first champion will be Flair, Morales, Backlund, Inoki, or Orndorff. Flair stays to the mat; meanwhile, Morales/Backlund and Inoki/Orndorff have paired off and are trading blows. Inoki gets the better of Orndorff, hitting him with an enzuigiri near the ropes that actually sends him over the top to elimination. The force of this kick was amazing and seems to have left Orndorff unconscious on the outside. After much back and forth, Backlund eliminates Morales. Flair, Backlund and Inoki remain; two of them will be facing off for the world title in the near future. Flair approaches Inoki and seems to make some kind of alliance with him. He crosses his heart and you can clearly read his lips saying “trust me.” Schiavone groans at the thought of anyone trusting Flair. Tony’s suspicions were right; sure enough, as Inoki sets his sights on Backlund, Flair sneaks up from behind and hits him with a low blow, severely incapacitating Inoki and turning him into easy pickings to send over the top rope for the final elimination of the battle royal. Ric Flair and Bob Backlund will face off for the LWA Heavyweight Title. Flair and Backlund stare each other down intensely as the show goes off the air.
Winners: Ric Flair and Bob Backlund

Next week, we will hear from Flair and Backlund, The Grand Wizard’s mystery client will debut, we will see our second semifinal for the Tag Team Title Tournament, and Chief Jay Strongbow will take on “Dirty” Dick Murdoch. All of that and more, on the next edition of LWA Overdrive.
