It occasionally does that to me, but not consistently. I'll open it one time and it will show through, open it another and it won't. I assume it's not clickable until you open the spoiler?

Few promos leave such a lasting effect on a company that they will attempt to recreate them in the PG era (to terrible results nonetheless) but that really should emphasize how memorable and awesome this promo really was.

FWIW I'm guessing that was keed's impulse to select earlier. That's the one I was thinking about anyway.

The segment as a whole isn't amazing but that thunderous booing after the shot at the Kings was fantastic.

My first pick was more about the moment itself than the actual quality of the promo. This time I select two of the greatest on the stick doing what they do best; this one is all about the entertainment value. However it does also have the added bonus of being the long anticipated WWF debut of one of the biggest talents the industry has ever seen, as well as the debut of one of the greatest ever catchphrases.

So, what is my pick?

If I was drafting based solely on historical importance then Hogan and Austin would have been my #1 and #2 in some order. I don't care about that but that doesn't make them bad picks obviously.

The Rock in Sacramento was in fact the first thing I considered. His Sacramento joke is a top moment, but everything else in that segment is really bad. The Toronto promo a few weeks (one week?) before was far better at getting crowd heat and completely solidified his heel turn. "You ain't nothing but a redneck..." didn't incite anyone.

Yeah, as always with these things, keed is going to be one of my mindmelds while the DW/TN team is another. And happily I'm sandwiched in between them.

I do agree that the Toronto promo is the better one from Rocky.
