Ok for the $100 pool, first randomization will be the final hand of TCOOP-34 (currently 3 handed). The hand history includes the second at which the hand starts, so that will be the seed. If starting at 00-09, it will be 1, 10-19 2, and so on.

On the last hand, I will take the hand number and look at the last two digits. If ending in 1-90, I'll determine the remainder left over. For example, if the last hand is xxxxxxx77, the remainder after taking out 30s would be 17, so Wyrm would get #1, sandman201 #2, MattTheGambler #3, and so on.

If the last hand ends in 91-00, I will take the last 3 digits, and take the same concept. For example, if the last hand is xxxxx486, the remainder would be 6 (16x30 + 6), so Chachi Arcola would be #1, kdub72 would be #2, etc.

Just out of curiosity . Why don't you use random.org to give a full randomization ?

This method is more transparent - not that I would, but I can't run and re-run it until I get a number I like for myself. If you mean in terms of the order, it never really occurred to me that it matters in any way.

My thinking is it doesn't change the order of who is next to who just where it starts? Idk if it really matters was just a thought .

My other thinking is we trust you to escrow so we trust you to random and not cheat lol plus it's hard to cheat when you don't even know what number is good

Based on history, it's probably 50% or so if not better that the winner comes from the first five or the last five.

Of the 29 winners:

6 had a number in the first 5
12 had a number in the last 5 (4 more had 24 or 25).

Not counting Duggan, who was #13 in a 20 man rumble, there has only been one winner with a number between 5 and 18.
