Styles didn't seem to know how to take the Sister Abigail.

the answer was the worst possible outcome

AJ is gonna get stuck in some multiman cluster**** or with some non wrestler while bray, goldberg, and brock get 20 minute matches. We are indeed in the darkest timeline

I'd say he didn't get over until they ran him against Reigns.

That feud was great.

Remember when Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt were interesting because they both were doing something new?

That was a cool 2 months.

yeah, i mean the orton storyline has been going on since Augustish so kudos to them for doing some long term booking. Also kudos to them for having bray just beat cena and aj with no nonsense so he at least has a fighting chance of being taken seriously unlike KO.

the problem is just that he kind of sucks and is kind of boring despite them putting him in huge profile matches at mania like taker or cena and idk why this would be different.

Show is gonna close with Lesnar/Dadberg or Reigns/Taker

Not only that but his matches with Jericho were very meh and he lost at WM so why would he get over? When he's a heel vs Reigns, nobody expects him to win and they had great matches. Pretty big difference imo. In any case he's a natural babyface but definitely a decent heel. He needs some different moves as a heel though.

Forgot how protected "Sister Abigail" is. I guess you could say Cena/AJ are more worn out since they've been in since the beginning, still, both had just kicked out of each others finishers.

Anyway, what a joke the WWE is, hope they're proud. Two slobs who wouldn't be drafted in the top 20 in a draft trying to pick actual fighters as their champs. WORK RATE THOUGH. Oh right KO's sick run is gonna end to a 50 yo part timer who can't wrestle for more than 5 minutes. And you can't even say that about Bray Wyatt, just some weirdo who I guess may work better at WM with Orton? No one cares about any of this though, which is the problem. AJ, Dean, Miz, hell even Cena- they're the guys on SD. Being the champ used to mean something, now they can't even make their championship matches last bc the champs are so lame.

He wasnt a heel against Reigns, he didn't turn till the night after when him and the club Pearl Harbor'd John Cena.

Actually that feud was the most heel they ever let Reigns be and that had a lot to do with what made it fantastic.

Gonna watch it on replay but very happy they pulled the trigger on Wyatt. Deserves a serious run at the top of the card.

Does feel really strange that they are clearly wasting AJ regardless of what happens here.

Still praying they don't actually pull the other trigger and actually have oldberg hold the belt

Brunch. I watched most of it and might be recency bias but I can't think of a more boring PPV in the past few years. Nothing was for good for me and despite avoiding spoilers and odds, nothing was surprising either.

Orton/Wyatt doesn't need the belt and if it did, why wasn't Bray the one to win the RR and challenge Orton? I feel like that would have built him up more, winning his first title in a multi man match feels anti climatic but since his whole career has been anti climatic I guess it fits. Why did AJ lose to Cena as well other than Cena just needing to get a win back? That booking makes no sense to me now. I love how Ambrose and Styles carried a show for a year but seem to be in limbo and Cena and Miz's feud seems like it will start because one guys girlfriend spilled flour on the others guys wife.

It's kind of amazing how consistantly bad the booking is.

Orton/Wyatt seems like the definition of a pairing that actually needs the belt to me

I think their story is strong enough that it didn't need the title as a catalyst for them to fight. Feels like an easy way out instead of coming up with an interesting way to turn them against each other. I thought they were going for something different when they had Orton cause the Harper and Wyatt break up but nope, looks like it's just going to be the title. Maybe they could have had Orton spill some flour on Bray or something.

Cena vs Wyatt an orton in triple threat match at mania would make sense

Me too. At RR, I speculated that this is a way for Wyatt to get the belt without having to pin AJ. Instead, Bray gets the title by pinning AJ.

Why was there a bag of flour in catering? And shouldn't she blame Nattie, who actually started the backstage fight?

While the WWE cameras turn down the aperture to make the arena look really dark during the "firefly" part of Bray's entrance, it actually looks pretty bright, apparently:
