The World Poker Tour announces the WPT Foundation, benefiting four charities covering the environment, human rights, hunger and poverty.

The first event takes place in March at the SLS Beverly Hills, shame something can't be done during the LAPC in place of the traditional WPT Invitational.

The four charities are Conservation International, Enough Project, We Advance, and World Central Kitchen. Obviously, charity poker tournaments raise red flags, but a quick look into these four charities shows nothing suspicious.

Maybe they think attendance would drop off among the celebrities if they picked the charity or charities instead of it being picked by a celebrity.
