Seems like they are going to be leaving Merge and starting/joining Revolution Gaming. The change will be at the end of this month according to these stories.

Merge still exists as before, just minus the Lock skin.

Revolution = Lock + Cake Network.

does snyone have an opinion on how this will effect Lock? Good thing or bad? I've never played on Cake.....

I didn't really notice a 40% drop in Merge

It looks like it's closer to 20% and Revolution/Cake seems to have doubled its weekend cash player numbers for its first weekend.

I been on the new network with Lock poker since start, and i already waiting 4 days to get a reply to my emails i send to them. I even called them but they didnt pick up and i spoke in their anshwermachine. They didnt call me back. I emailed all their emails. And no respond. Also live chat doesnt work, it never ever worked , also not on their old network.

This is just REDICULOUS.

Lock really needs to step up to the issues that are plaguing their site; glitches with money disappearing, laggy software and client options malfunctioning, bouncing checks and slow WU withdraws

Its getting almost laughable b/c they are just ignoring emails/PMs and acting like business as usual. Luckily I personally haven't put any money and was looking to but now I don't have enough faith in Lock atm to do so.

it doesn't really matter how bad they are, it only matters how bad they are compared to Merge

on Merge their only withdrawal option is a check with a $2500 cap, and from asking for that check to the check arriving in your mailbox takes like 6 weeks and you can only request one at a time

so your yearly income is capped at $21k (lol) and you can barely play midstakes because they're all BBJ tables with 100k jackpots that would take 5 years to withdraw

is Lock really worse than that? (honestly I'd like to know, I'm in the process of switching over and I've never played on Lock/Cake)

Not true, I can withdraw on Carbon Poker with Western Union.

Was looking to join Lock, but now I'm opting for Carbon.

Just join a cake skin that has fast cashouts. You don't have to play on lock.

So what does this mean for cake? Is it likely that cake will now experience all of the same problems people are having with the lock network?

I just finished a session on cake and though I should have finished with about $30 more than I did...
