Thanks, did some research after you expanded your post and I see that EA is suing them for copying stuff and many in the tech industry seem to feel Zynga has copied stuff for a long time (and the articles about former employees/whistle blowers).

The stuff the CEO said was at a conference and about what he had to do to get funding (the spyware thing, though I swear apple has done that **** before too as have many other companies, or at least what I would consider spyware that is a pain to get off your computer unless you really know what you're doing).

In any case, can now see why you dislike Zynga, thanks.

The Party Poker partnership with UK Zynga will be an interesting one to follow.

Though the results won't be easy to compare to what Zynga USA could do (because the UK has had legal online poker for so long and legal advertising).

However, if Zynga UK does really well with their Party Poker partnership, it would likely mean that Zynga USA has the potential that the optimists think they have.

I thought that zynga should have bought the FTP software and name. For as much money as they spend on other small businessis, OMGPOP etc. This would have made them an instant player worldwide.

Well, Pokerstars has the rep to actually run the site...gotta remember, when the stuff hit the fan, they paid everyone & pretty quick too. I think anyone else buying Tilt would have only saw massive cashouts and no action on the tables.

Plus, Pstars had "vested" interests in making a deal with DOJ. Doubt the pricing would have made sense to any one else on a strictly financial basis...just my completely uninformed, ignorant opinion of course

Zynga poker would bring a mass number of fish to online poker you could not even dream of. Actually they are so bad it's frustrating, level 0 thinkers. Unless you're good at adjusting down to 0, lol

Obviously the software would have to be completely re-tooled, but this would be awesome! It would be like the glory days of PartyPoker.

''I don't think zynga is the company you want developing the software. If you can't have the guys from stars or tilt then you want a company who has experience in a similar space(doesn't need to be gaming) who is willing to work with analysts who are/were high volume poker players ''

totally agree, cant say i am too fond of it

No, but it's Zynga as a whole.

Good for real players if Zynga facebook players bet the same way when playing with real money
