You have to find financial institutions willing to transfer funds coded properly. Even if they wanted to (it is peanuts in profits for the financial industry) the lawyers will have to spend months going over everything with a fine tooth comb, then run everything by the multiple agencies that have some jurisdiction over the matter.

According to discussion at the Nevada Gaming Commission on December 22, the timeframe for an existing Nevada licensee for approval is 60 to 90 days.

There is no "multiple-agencies' boogeyman at the State level.

Since there are entities which specialize in gaming-related processing already for B&M casinos, it is unlikely there would be any lasting difficulty in arranging processing for lawful play at a Nevada-licensed online poker site.

(Why you think about 2% or so of gross deposits is 'peanuts" to an industry scrambling for ANY fees income puzzles me.)

He's talking about offshore sites. You are right it shouldn't be hard for NEVADA sites to process payments.

The Wire Act was just one of the two main obstacles to IP. The UIGEA is still blocking transactions both domestically and internationally. That also has to be repealed to free up poker transactions.

UIGEA is no obstacle when you get state legal poker business...no repeal needed.

Party won't be an offshore site when/if they get a state license.

Read the posts and you'll prob get the context

"re entering the us market" implies opening up to customers now b/c of the wire act memo
