iPoker have announced today that they are planning to launch their own answer to Pokerstars "zoom" poker. Players will have access to "Speed Poker" from the beginning of July. iPoker claim that it is set to become "the world's fastest online poker format".

guess no1 wants to be first so i ask some :
-is it for omaha aswell (if so , what stakes ) ?
-was there any beta test running ?
-is it running with HUD ?

-Will HU rush be available?
-Is anonymous mode considered?

We will be starting with limited stakes in Hold'em only as a soft launch. PLO and other stakes will be rolled out afterwards.

HU, anonymous tables and other variations will definitely be considered for future updates.

well " ipokerbob " , no need to transfer money then till august ? i hope u dont release some garbage version without testing .

No doubt the games will be populated with the traditional iPoker bots to get them underway

this is gonna slow the games down tooo much imo

You would think they would sort out the bugs with the original software before adding this.

Speed Poker software start to lag a lot after 10 minutes or so with playing.

Exact dates this will be on poker770 or all skins?

the beta version is already available on all big bookmaker skins, for Poker770 is foreseen within the first half of July 2012. However I do not know any exact date for smaller white label skins.

Speed Poker is now also available on Poker770, earlier than expected. This may also mean that all smaller skins will have it implemented within the next few days.

do you really think ipoker has a large enough player pool for this to be feasible? At pokerstars, 200NL FR almost never runs and ya know, their player pool puts ipoker's to shame (looking at the software/bots etc not hard to see why)
