Gutshot poker
Seriously wtf is going on here?
Yesterday got a message that my account is locked out for security reasons, so email support, no reply for ages, then look on the gutshot forum for any info.
See there is server downtime and loads of people have the same problem, fair enough, system due back up today at lunch.
Still not working, no bloody updates what so ever, then decide to look on the
https://www.gutshot.com/Home/
To see that it has joined the merge network???????????????????
Seriously wtf is going on here, this looks dodgy as hell.
No updates, no information prior to this, nothing mentioned on my gutshot support ticket.
This is nothing short of a disgrace, not blaming ipokervip but can anyone shed any light on wtf is going please.

Re: Gutshot poker
Hi ******,
We apologise for the lack of communication however the server that hosts our email (not this support email) is currently unavailable and we are doing our best to keep the lines of communication open, however with so many players this has proven difficult.
All players will now need to reset their password here https://www.gutshot.com/ForgotPassword and once they have logged into their account they will need to download the new poker clients, there is a choice of 2 or players can use both.If your account has a balance you will need to refresh your balance as soon as you login in order to see it, to do this please click the 2 yellow arrows just below your name at the top.
Thank you very much for your patience in this matter.
Kind Regards
Gutshot Support
wtf why were we not informed of this change to another poker client or should i say 2 clients?, ? how does this affect rake etc - ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????
seriously disgusted with how this has happened

Re: Gutshot poker
Hi Yorkies Knob,
Sorry to hear about this.
Firstly, I can say for certain that Gutshot were not kicked off the iPoker network and made a concious decision to move to ENET & Merge.
Unfortunately this is just the way that many skins decide to leave a network. Even when VC (Now BetVictor) moved to Entraction it wasn't clear until a week or so before. It seems to be even worse with other skins.
I have spoken to our contact at Gutshot and do know that your money is safe. If needed we can even wire you, your bankroll and you owe it to us or something like that. Although I think withdrawals should be available right now.
All VIP payments will be honoured and this is something we can ensure too.
Finally, if you PM me your username and the method via which you would like to withdraw I can pass this onto Gutshot and ensure you're taken care of.
If you need anything else just let me know,
Jamie

Hi Jamie,
Yeah the money was in my account when i changed password so not worried about that, just really pissed off with how gutshot did this, no information beforehand, awful communication along the way - just not the way to treat your customers and i wont be playing there again.
Would like to say that ipokervip have been superb and very professional in all my dealings with you and i will defo be using your service again when i look for another deal.
Thanks for all the help Jamie, its really appreciated.

Re: Gutshot poker
Sorry you feel this way guys.
I think to a certain extent Gutshot's hands were tied as it's possible that iPoker may have taken some action if they had given notice that they were leaving - at least I'm sure this came into their considerations.
Regardless, I definitely understand where you are all coming from. Unfortunately this just seems to be the current status quo.
Finally, thanks for your kind words Yorkies. It truly means a lot and if there is anything at all that I can do for you just let me know. I have been in touch with Gutshot and they're apologetic, but assure me that everyone's funds are 100% safe.
Take it easy,
Jamie

Re: Gutshot poker
I used to play at Gutshot and it was indeed disappointing to see this move happen w/out prior notice. Still, I agree w/ iPokerVIP's opinion that Ipoker probably could've tried taking action against them if they were to have announced it. I always had a good relationship with Gutshot and I see all my cash is still there, so I'm not overly worried. Now just gotta figure out if I want to play on Merge and/or Enet or not.

its what your should expect when playing on smaller site skins, head down to the gutshot in london and tip a few tables if it would make you happy

Hi MalteseFalcon,
Gutshot do have their own cashier.
They will handle all deposits and withdrawals.

Re: Gutshot poker
Hi Jamie,
How does this affect all the rake deals we had via yourselves?
The last rake update on ipokervip is the 4th Apr on my account, but played there up until the site went down (12th 13th apr i think) - i presume we will still get any rake we earned before the switch and if so when and how will this be payed?
Does the rake deal we have via ipokervip - still stand if we play on the new gutshot skin on merge or do we need to look for another deal.
Appreciate your time and effort on this thread Jamie.
Thank you

Re: Gutshot poker
Hi Yorkies Knob,
Not a problem. It's our job to help.
All players will be paid as per their deal up until the migration. The money will be paid into your Gutshot casino wallet.
Unfortunately the deals are not being grandfathered.
Drop me a PM or speak to one of our agents on Skype and we can definitely help you out where you need.
Thanks for your patience,
Jamie
