very good point, you have me considering a change now, I"ve loved the Colts D lately at like 3k, they can get to the passer and cause TO's and had nice matchups, but man you have to think they could throw this game...

Re: Weekly Strat talk (NFL ldo)

Im gonna roll out a couple of Kyle Orton lineups this week.

If ever there was a time for a career Orton day, it should be against Denver.

Hoping the Denver D forgets to show up

Re: Weekly Strat talk (NFL ldo)

I cant decide if I'm going to take it easy this week or make it my biggest week yet due to week 17-aments. I'm leaning towards the latter.

Re: Weekly Strat talk (NFL ldo)

Does anyone know a site that has individual game stat projections/guesses? I want to try to develop a model that will build me a roster that produces the highest number of expected points while still staying under the salary cap. I want to do this without throwing my own personal bias, sports knowledge, or handicapping into the mix. I basically want to play these games using expected points and stats without knowing anything about the players.

Try ESPN, they do projected stats each week

I feel as though the stat projections/guesses is the hard part.

Really similar to the lineup I had!

Only differences were St. Johnson instead of Welker, Bryant instead of Austin, and a different kicker.

I like it too. I mean at this point in the season it is all about picking guys who aren't going to rest.

Very similar lineup to myself. This should be an interesting week of football.

We should take the NFL out of this threads name as I'm really interested to hear people's thoughts about NBA and other sports like NHL. I'm finding research for NBA to be a little more difficult than NFL was for me.

While he has been solid the last 2 weeks, Houston has a pretty good defense. He's on my radar, but I haven't made a decision yet.
