Re: Spreading the word about DraftDay

FD / DS are the two biggest competitors. I'm pretty sure we are the third largest site but a pretty fair margin. I don't consider the sites below us to be serious competition yet, but I'm sure some will grow / new ones will pop up.

Re: Spreading the word about DraftDay

Saw someone mention football ending hurts all the daily sites. Something that could replace would be NCAA BB. One of your competitors does NCAA FB, I don't think anyone does NCAA BB right now. Obviously you cant do all teams, but if you limit it to top 25 teams, or top 25 teams and their opponents, i think it would be manageable. Also if you went the NCAA BB route, you might be able to advertise on NCAA BB themed sites where your competition isn't.

Hi,

I'm just beginning to check out fantasy sports betting sites.

With all due respect, (since you acknowledged the top three sites), can you please point out the specializations/differences between them, (Draft Day, Fan Duel, and Draft Street)?

Thanks!

Re: Spreading the word about DraftDay

Hi blue,

The main differences are user experience (think quality of software), site fees (called rake in poker), quality of customer support, and different types of promotions.

It's really pretty similar to online poker. What are the differences between the sites? At the end of the day, all the sites offer a pretty similar product, it's just about executing the idea the best. We're doing our best to out execute other sites, I think we're doing a nice job but it is still very early and we have some stiff competition.

I don't really like to talk specifically about other competitors so if you are interested in other products then you should just try them and see what you think (or ask other people that have used them, I'm sure there are some in this forum).

Taylor,

Are you guys working on a golf game? I'm pretty sure none of your competitors have one. It would be another sport to help get through the summer.
