Its probably not. Your money is probably just as safe on this site, as your money is on FTP.

In 2006, Congress passed the SAFE Port Act, which was written to increase security of U.S. Port, but attached to the SAFE Port Act was the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, which prohibits Americans from using credit cards, electronic funds transfers, or checks to to finance Internet gambling activity.

Re: Questions about DraftDay

Dude, can you just shut up and go away. To the DD people - I can't find an FAQ which lists the scoring rules for each sport. I really need the MLB stuff. Hopefully it's not going to be pitcher-centered like on DraftZone. Liked the article on the Dunning-Kruger Effect.

My bad. Ty Canoe. Didn't see the link at the bottom of the home page.

Pitching win = 2 points. Perfect.

Re: Questions about DraftDay

How often does "The Mendoza Line" tournament run for baseball? The "hit it and split it" type of games are my favorite format. I'm sad to see it's not running tomorrow.

We're still tweaking and fine-tuning our big-field games for MLB.

It'll be back tomorrow though and should be a regular game on the schedule.

Thanks.

Re: Questions about DraftDay

Green Plastic or DraftDay?
Question on the Mendoza Line tourney.
I don't know how much you can say, but is the idea behind this tournament that a large portion of the player pool hit it or that it is very top heavy?

Reason i'm asking is i played in one last week, and out of 160ish players, only 14 hit. I was really surprised by this as i thought a lot more would. Can you give any info on average how many hit in this tourney?
Thanks

Re: Questions about DraftDay

Pretty sure there's a lot of variance with the # of people that win. I played yesterday and 42 people hit. If you played it Thursday or Friday, there was not a full slate of baseball games that day and most of those games turned out to be very low scoring. Compare that to Saturday and Sunday where there was a full slate and there turned out to be a lot more high scoring games.

You would think that the high scoring might be offset by the pitchers scoring less but a good offensive day can easily overcome selecting poor pitchers. My two pitchers actually combined for -4.25 points and I still hit yesterday.

Re: Questions about DraftDay

I would like to be able to choose the payout structures on custom games. I.e. choosing a winner take all for a 5 or 10 person game. Any chance that could be added?

We plan to add the ability to customize payout structures in the future.

Re: Questions about DraftDay

If your going to change the Mendoza line qualifying score 35 is way too low. I think most people like the fact they can make a decent score off a $2.50 game if they have a killer lineup. I think 40 would be fine.
