Not only did the jackpot get funded by players, but a lot of casinos take juice out of that on top, for "administrative expenses". I'll never win a jackpot, but if I do, I doubt all the tips I would spread around would exceed $100. I pretty much tip every hand already. I'd rather lose that money back to the players than give it to casino employees.
