Turtle Creek Mi Thread Turtle Creek Mi Thread

Hello, I am looking to start a turtle creek thread. I figure we can discuss hands and optimal strategies against the fish we see most commonly. Our room and players do not really fit into the typical low stakes players as they only offer 1/2 regularly and many players are well beyond this skill level. I play there regularly and wold love to have a discussion.

we have a game every night but monday. You must be thinking of petoskey. Have not played at the roaring beagle since early 2000's. Always seemed to have a lot of collusion and marked cards.

How would you break down the typical table? How many fish? How many "players well beyond that skill level?" Other categories?

Are the non locals (tourists) that come through easily categorized and if yes, how would you categorized them? How many categories?

on a typical weekend you only have two or three good players at a table if there is any tourist traffic. week days you are looking at five good players and maybe more depending on the time and long the table has been open as the fish dont last long.
