I agree, this is a bit out of line. But if it's a heavy locals place, then sometimes this kind of thing goes on. At least they're not giving advice during a hand. They're just working it, trying to keep it fun for their regulars. After all, all these other players are losing, right? They're making money for you, right? The dealers are just trying to help them have fun, stay at the table, make more money for you.
As you're powerless to stop it, this is a good way to view it.
