Learning to breathe from your belly, diaphragm or Dan Tien helps as well. It also helps prevent your breath from flying up into your chest and creating the heaves that are a telltale sign of a big hand.

Played in a live donkament on Saturday and ran into a perfect scenario that reminded me of this thread. Caught what appeared to be a very obvious betting tell from a player regarding the manner in which he moved his chips into the pot.

Watching him against other players he would make a big production out of his raise when he was strong. He owuld announce, "raise and then put in the call amount. He would sweep the call amount towards the pot with a big back handed arm gesture with his right arm while his left hand would throw in a sizeable raise. Everytime he did this and went to showdown he had the nuts or very close to it.

I finally get wrapped up with him and am leaning towards folding my two pair when he raises me on the river. Except he min raised me, and didn't do the whole production. He just put in the min raise and stated the amount, "6400".

I thought about it for a while, and felt my read was right so I jammed and he snap folded. "good hand".

A bit later and it happens again, he calls me to the river and then raises me by placing chips out and stating the amount, "9500". The only difference here is that it was not a minimal raise, it was a pretty big raise. I went again with my read and called him with a small pair and was again correct. I didn't get to see his cards unfortunately in either instance, but that tell seems to be 100%.
