Casinos near Cincinatti?

I'm hearing there are casinos near Cinci, I'll be travelling there the first week of April.

Any recommendations of where to go, and which ones have poker, or don't? Someone mentioned they are very close, but I'm unfamiliar with the area. Names of the casinos would help.

Cinci is getting new casino before long, sometime in 2013. Cleveland's opens up this spring, May 14th.

Ditto

I've played $1/$3 and $2/$5 there several times and the games have always been good. I even happened to be there one night when we got a $10/$20 limit with a $2 rake game going on a weeknight.

If you are flying into the Airport on the Ky side of the Ohio river, the Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg Indiana is a heck of lot closer than 40 miles. There used to be fairly decent poker at the other riverboats, but not anymore. It's got a few problems for some folks , but you won't disapointed!

Re: Casinos near Cincinatti?

Hollywood is about 25-30 minutes from downtown Cincinnati; about 15 minutes from the airport in Northern Kentucky. It has 1/2 (200 cap), 1/3 (500 cap) and 1/3/5 PLO running everyday as well as 2 daily tourneys and 3-6 limit. I wouldn't advise going to Belterra or Indiana Downs, the 2 next closest poker options due to lack of action.

Re: Casinos near Cincinatti?

Thanks guys I really appreciate it. I'll be out there in April by myself for a conference so I need to find something to do at night.

Now, where are the stripclubs? Heh. Only kidding.
