I've noticed the new "Fast" 25NL tables allow for a slightly deeper buy in, and they've been great for me and others who prefer faster action with more than 100bb.

Yeah, the short stacking is insanely irritating sometimes.

While we have passed this along, its just worthwhile noting that while it can be frustrating for some players, its not against the rules to buy in for the minimum.

Ryan, the point is the buy in was set to low on these new tables. They are not in line with the standard offerings of Merge. We don't have a problem with someone buying in the minimum, we have a problem with the minimum being set so low.

In fact, I've seen them as low as ten big blinds. All other Merge cash tables are set to a minimum of 30 big blinds. This was surely an oversight/mistake.
