Re: Official CarbonPoker Support Thread

I am very pleased to see that the software is improving daily.

Several suggestions:

Tournament Lobby - 60 second delay in updates to positions and stack sizes

Tournament Lobby - Have headings of Position/Prize line up with Pos/Player/Chips-Win and Table/Players/High/Low to more easily allow you to see relationship between prizes and remaining players.

Dealer Button - Gray dealer button is too hard (for me) to find on the table. Can you provide an alternate red/orange dealer button or allow user to pick a color or allow user to import a dealer button image?

Player Tags - Solid colored, round images for player tags (like in v5 for "tight player") are easier for me to distinguish quickly. Can you provide alternate solid colored dealer tags or allow user to import solid colored dealer tags.

As people realize how much better your new software is, there will be more players/action. The above changes will better allow me to multi-table as that occurs.

Continued success.

Re: Official CarbonPoker Support Thread

Back to my player to player transfer question. What if you're on a mac? I explain to my friend how to send me a transfer and he shows me a screenshot of his client and he doesn't have a place to click "account" and have a drop down menu to select the player to player option. Any advice?

He has to make sure he's clicked on the client, then Account will appear in the top left hand part of the screen. From there they can select player to player transfer.

Re: Official CarbonPoker Support Thread

The server time in the lobby seems to have been corrected but I think it is a different time then the one that is on the player admin/VIP screen. It is 20:15 in the lobby and 19:15 on the player admin/vip screen. This shouldn't matter 99% of the time but with the last man standing promotion I'm going to have to play near 24 hours a day the last couple days and just wanna make sure I'm starting/finishing at the right times.

I'll need your screen name to be able to check on your account.

Re: Official CarbonPoker Support Thread

CarbonChris can you give me an idea of how long it normally takes for a western union deposit to be credited. my friend using carbon said it usually within 30mins to an hour, however i made a deposited early this afternoon an its still pending. i have double checks all the info as well as made sure it was in us currency, is it normal for it to take this long? i just signed up yesterday so was unsure. player id: dadov23, deposit ref#5546904

Re: Official CarbonPoker Support Thread

Hey CarbonChris-
I had a coupon for the WSOP satellite last Sunday, but when I registered for the tourney I misclicked and registered out of my normal funds. The tournament had already started so I couldn't unregister and re-register with the coupon. I asked them by e-mail if they could subtract the coupon and repose the funds, but Carbon support send me this (useless) response:

"Thank you for contacting us.
We are sorry for this inconvenience but unfortunately we cannot restore your cash balance for the WSOP satellite you played on Sunday.
We appreciate your comprehension in this matter."

I responded with "What am I supposed to do with my WSOP satellite coupon now? I don't believe there any more WSOP satellites to register in now. This was a simple misclick due to the new software."

They then send back this response:
"We truly apologize but our management reviewed you request and unfortunately we can't exchange this coupon since you did not use it how it was supposed to be used."

Hoping you can provide some help.

Thanks

hey chris,

I'm kinda in the same situation, I had received a Sunday $109 coupon voucher but I was thinking it would use it automatically when I registered for it. Only later did I find out you had to choose the coupon when you initially register.

Am I able to switch the voucher back for cash?

Thanks

Can I get you to restart your comp and re-install the software? Once this is done, are you still experiencing the same issue? If so, please let me know. Also, what operating system are you on?
