I'm glad that there is double points again this month but I think that the fat stack/slim stack tournie is just a gimmick. Starting with 1,000,000 chips really doesn't mean much when the initial blinds are 25,000/50,000. The fat stack is the same as a 1,000 initial stack with 25/50 blinds. The slim stack is equivalent to a 1,000 starting stack with 50/100 initial blinds. The blind levels do go up more gradually but I just don't see the point of this fat stack/slim stack thing. There is no real added value for the player aside from free rake.

As a tournament it might be an interesting idea but as a promotion, it is a complete dud. The 2 dollar tournie only has a value of 20 cents, the price of the rake. This promotion has vitually no benefit to the players. Also, I had been really hoping for the return of some kind of cash game promotion.

It's just something new to the mix, and it's a rake free option. Obviously there is some more value in ChipKing and double points certainly, but it seems it would be hard to complain about a rake free tournament right?

Well let me know when Carbon adds a LHE tourney......

Please make it a $2-$10 buy-in Turbo(or levels at 7minutes) freeze-out with no late registration.....

Then the cash had already been added to your account, and now it is clear to transfer or withdraw.

I do not even have a activate promo button. Done everything multiple times.

Just nothing, I goto Player Admin, I am signed in, and nothing. Clicked on every link in my account.

Hope you can help, missed out on this last month. Hate to get passed up again.

Did you ever have the activate button? Because once you click it, it will simply disappear. I can check tomorrow to see if you are enrolled in the promotions.

From what I'm seeing today, it looks like you are already enrolled. Not sure what the problem was. But you're currently enrolled for 2x, and earning points towards ChipKing.

I just wanted to express my frustration with the vip system.

I've earned 794,527 points since late 2010 and because i spent part of october traveling I lost my ether status. Given how high the rake is at lhe it's now nearly impossible to play the games. Doesn't seem like a good way to treat one of your highest raking regulars over the past 2 years.
