I swore wouldn't do online transactions (and personally, don't remember what happened to Party Poker Account, did become affiliate for that and a sister site - 2004, 2005 - they kept changing the payout rules then).

Actually, FTP has had these kind of delays. Other sites have had these delays. Stars just had a problem with Echeck withdrawals - they are currently MIA, but will probably be refunded to poker accounts. No one then tried to link them to scammers, or thought that the biz was about to go broke due to liquidity (or maybe they did).

Just saying that I've been on 6 poker sites so far, and they have ALL HAD ISSUES. Don't keep your entire life savings on the accounts. Don't try to avoid taxes by thinking that the money on the site equates to not being in your hands, so it doesn't count. I remember someone that didn't want to buy another computer for home, while claiming to have over $100k in online accounts (they were definitely trying to hid the money).

Then, these hiccups - that all sites have - won't hurt you so much. Being young and new - using only Ewallet as opposed to us in the US whom have limited options, this hasn't hit you yet. So now you know. And its okay to be angry. Just don't let it rule you.
Nice post. I have some friends who lost a lot in the microgaming sites that went down, and I had a lot of problems with my first site that I have made a deposit (old wingows). But after that, I have played on a lot of ongame skins, ipoker, absolute (i know, i know...), stars, everleaf, pacific, party, boss media, everest, unibet and betfair (bonus whoring + 1/2 months I have grinded mtts) and this is the second time (after wingows) I m waiting for the money this long. I have made a bassic error - I have let more than 20 buy ins in a poker site and I learned the lesson pretty fast lol. Still, no excuse for this delays + that much misinformatio that we (merge network grinders) have got in the last days. Anyway, I still think merge is a solid network (if u ask me, more than everleaf for exemple) and I really think I will get my money. I hope I m right.

I think you may have misunderstood me; I probably wasn't clear.

All I was addressing was how the thread was turning into some kind of inquisition over whether Atil and/or Seth had lied, or RTR had lied, and I was pointing out that their statements weren't necessarily contradictory, and even if they were, it doesn't mean someone lied. That's all. I thought a few people were getting sidetracked over a side-issue.

That doesn't mean anyone should be happy that they don't have their money, or that I'm minimizing the issue. I hope for all your sakes that it's resolved soon.

I hope that I was clear. Just in case, leave me say that I never thought
or tried to suggest that Rake The Rake had lied.

CP Atil I have PMed you about Carbon suspending my account for no reason 1 day after I deposited $3k via Neteller on it, not even sending me an e-mail about it. You haven't responded yet, I would appreciate some answer quickly or I will make a thread about it in this forum that will not make Carbon Poker look good.
I know it is the weekend etc so I will wait until Monday evening to get an answer either from you or from support but this is really outrageous.

I've never heard PS or FTP have had any processing issues with European players. Withdrawals take literally minutes to show up in your MB account.

That's not what your post said in the chef thread. Not sure why you would remove his name from it, what's wrong with knowing him? My last post on this subject by the way, just saying you're both not helping your case by deleting posts over and over.

re: ***Official CarbonPoker Thread*** -- Mac Client Live & $50,000 Rake Race (Post #3078)

This site is unbelievable! After sending me a check that bounced they sent me an email 2 days later informing me not to cash it. After responding to that email telling support that the check had already been cashed and had bounce. Not only did I receive a considerable fee from my bank but it also makes me look unreputable in the eyes of my bank and could possibly affect my credit. After telling support all of this via email they basically said I was SOL. They offered no compensation for my time, bank fees, negative credit etc. If any Carbon reps want to respond to this I would appreciate it. I also have copies of the snooty emails from Carbon support and a copy of the bounced check and will post if necessary.

At this point I would even be appreciative of some tournament tickets or some other form of non-cash reimbursement. Even an apologetic email from support would be nice.

Hope this helps others thinking about playing on Carbon as well as any others in my situation.

Thanks
Tim

Dont know if this is an anomaly, but I received my last ewalletxpress cashout in 5 days (requested June 1st) without asking for Atil to expedite it (I was going to today). Since the second week of May I've received ewalletxpress cashouts in 5 days, 7 days, 13 days and now 5 days. All for the max.

Requested another withdrawal, I'll update when it is processed.

I'm hopeful we're turning the corner.

Also, and I hope I'm not sounding like a shill, but check issues are common for every site. They all use third party processors and sometimes accounts get shut down. Not saying there aren't issues, but bounced checks are different than ewallet withdrawals.

my UMW from May 17 came today, and my friends click2pay from yesterday also came today. This exact same thing happened awhile ago, I cant remember when, at least 6 months ago. Then all returned to normal (normal = a few days). I don't know why they make up a bunch of bull**** excuses and say next monday for 3 weeks, but I never had a worry my funds were gone. I've been there since they opened.

I wasn't worried either, because I've had the same experiences on FTP, UB, etc. I think their support should somehow be aligned with Merge, then they would be more informed.

The Sky is Falling, and constant trolling - doesn't help. I understand folks frustrations, but trying to find lameass excuses (when there is no evidence for them) - doesn't help.

I have been playing online just as long as you and I've never had the same problems with FTP, Stars, or UB. Yes, I have had some minor issues in the past, but nothing to this extent. I wasn't ever worried that I wouldn't receive my money from Merge. Their withdrawal problems have happened far too often though. They have done nothing to improve their issues. I hope this changes.

You've been playing pre and right after 2000? My first game was in 1999.

You are a US player that had earlier ewallet accounts that no longer exist? You used Neteller and Click2Pay because Echeck and direct CC weren't allowed preUIGEA? (Guess they wanted to charge the user to pay). You used phone cards to fund your poker accounts (I remember those)?

Wow.
