I have signed up as a member and tried doing the Visa option to deposit. I keep getting transaction denied for some reason. To my understanding they are getting overwhelmed with deposits so that could be it. I am just wondering if there is any way to deposit other than Visa. Preferably western union? Anyone else having issues?

That's generally Visa denying the transaction. They won't approve any transactions for Americans to a gambling website, so you'll have to do Click2Pay or Western Union.

How often do Visas get approved? Are Visa gift cards generally better than Visa credit/debit cards?

Just go to your bank and ask them to "allow" the transaction.

I would not recommend that. Banks that don't allow it are following their interpretation of UIGEA, they won't remove it just because you ask.

Depositing back in June, my Visa (and all credit cards - even pre paid Walmart card) were denied.

Had to use Western Union.

But when I reloaded 2 weeks ago, my Visa was accepted.

Hey BMILLION, we do accept Visa transactions, however there can be factors that lead to some requests getting denied. If you're experiencing problems with this method, I would recommend a cash transfer through Western Union.

I can't even get that far.
When I go to the cashier I get:

You cannot initiate a deposit at this time.
Please upgrade to a full account by completing
 your contact details on the overview page.

I go there and everything looks ok except when I registered, it would not allow
me to enter a state. Any way to re-enter my address?

Went back in today and it let me update my info, so looks like its ok.
Now to find a VISA gift card......

My visa never worked but after sending a W.U moneyorder i was able to start playing within the hour.

FWIW: On 10/14/11 I was able to clear a Visa Vanilla card deposit for $250. My friend was denied when he tried the next day.

I think if you have trouble with visa then Western Union is the way to go. Small fee but you'll be playing within an hour of sending it.
