i believe the ftp regs averaged about 1% - 2% higher pre-rakeback ROIs. there were other differences (between ftp and merge) than just the structure though, so the boost in expected ROI might be a little bit different.

that's a point. if a bunch of sharks showed up, because the structure improved, it could make the games tougher than before the structure change. i tend to doubt this will happen though, because the old and new structures aren't THAT different.

but one thing i expect to happen is more would-be super turbo grinders will now be able to justify specializing in supers, partly because they will now be able to play higher than before. this might reduce the ROI boost of current winning players.

It could work the other way also though. The new structure could also bring fish over if they show potential profit. With RB and other bonuses offered by Merge these games could really take off. However until the old games are gone I doubt the full potential could be reached in terms of increasing the player pool.

Another reason that old ftp players most likely won't show up to grind Merge games is that a TON of them are grinding the PS hypers. Tottenham_fc, LuckboxFromHell, Jayc170 (idr ftp sn), BigGamesJames etc etc all are grinding PS games for SNE+

You guys should have a popup with a poll upon login if you want some real feedback. On 2+2 you get the same 20-30 dudes in all your threads Cool discussion going! Hope they remove the old ones soon as well, very nonsensical to me.

I had no idea you were mashbuttons lol always thought he played solid and now it makes sense =p

+2 I think it would be of great long term benefit for Merge and the players and could create a really competitive long term player base at a wide range of stakes and would certainly encourage other players to consider Merge as a good market for Super Turbos.

Good work Merge on making equal amount of tables NOw HEM and PT catch up and then Merge do whats right and let the new games run alone for awhile as a test.

ps. Anyone who wishes for these games to stay a simple way to focus on loading them first is click on name tab above the games your loading in lobby and you should be able to get the New games to be on top instead of the bottom of the lobby.

You can also simply type "new" into the search tab and only the new structure will show up.

That's pretty awesome thanks lol to bad I gotta grind both currently for the LB Equity. My hope is these games start loading faster where I can afford to dump the old ones or Merge deletes the old Structure for me one of the two.

I didn't see it mentioned in the releases notes for recent updates, but Poker Tracker seems to be working for me now, both PT3 and the free PT4 beta. The only thing I haven't verified is the PT3 HUD.

Re: New Super-Turbo SNG structure (for 6-max STT)

Hi Ryan,

Another vote for the new structure and killing off the old one. FTP really had this format down and that's what people are craving and I think you will keep a lot of players from moving to Lock/Revolution if you can adjust these games back to the 'glory days' of the FTP 300 chip structure.

Thanks for listening!
