Re: *** FREE -- New CarbonPoker Poker Odds Calculator ***

I was contemplating opening a Carbon account. Now there is absolutely no chance I would.

See? It's already a -EV decision.

I don't know why datamining is a bad thing. Yes i'm been collecting hands every night while I sleep lol. It's a small edge at most. But I still ran into KK when the villan was a huge fish and I stacked him with pride

I'm the opposite and would only play on Carbon if it turns out you can datamine. Datamining is sweet for me, but bad for the games as it annihilates fish that much faster.

Flash news: you're a fish if you're going to use a crappy HUD and not HEM 2 or PT 4. Enjoy being fished!

Wait, does this thing calculate pot odds for you in real-time and tell you what hands to play? How is this not a terrible idea?

Just another POV...

I haven't played since before Black Friday and only just have started looking to see what site to play on. I used PokerTracker previously and was prepared to buy the current version.

From what I've read so far across all the Internet poker threads, Carbon seemed the best choice for me. Now that I can get this tool for free, I am not going to purchase PT. Instead, I am going to make a bigger deposit up front on Carbon. That's more money on the site and more money in my bankroll. That sounds like a win/win to me.

Just want to make everyone aware that there's a mandatory software update for anyone that has already downloaded the software. As soon as you open the software, you'll be prompted to update. In some cases, a full uninstall/reinstall of the software will be necessary.

Amongst other changes, there's been an update to the software that now only allows players to gather info on hands they are involved in, at the tables they are playing.

We appreciate the support. Thanks!

Let us know some feedback on the tool once you get up and running with it. I would be interested to know how you feel it stacks up to the PokerTracker you used to use.

Re: *** FREE -- New CarbonPoker Poker Odds Calculator ***NEW UPDATE POST #89

does this work correctly with plo? I looked at it briefly but it only took 2 out of the 4 cards.. I didn't really play around with anything.. is there just a setting to change it?

Does not currently support Omaha, only Hold'Em.

Re: *** FREE -- New CarbonPoker Poker Odds Calculator ***NEW UPDATE POST #89

This calculator came out like two days after i started using Tournament Indicator's free trail. I was thinking of buying after trial period ended but the software is very similar so I'll most likely stick the with calculator. You guys saved me some good money. Only suggestion I can come up with is can there be an option to see how many big blinds you have in your stack. I know this is probably one of the easier calculations to make in poker and I have no problem doing it in my head. But anything to cut down on time making calculations to increase time contemplating decisions is always greatly appreciated.

Also, just a quick noob question. How do I get the copy to clipboard option to work on these forums? First i click the copy from clipboard function on hand replayer. Then open the hand history converter at the top of creating my thread. Paste. But am greeted by this message "Hand Conversion Failed

The hand history pasted contained formatting, spaces or special characters that are non-standard or was for a site or game type that is not supported."

Glad you're into the software. I can certainly see what's possible when it comes to that sort of improvement.

As for the hand conversion, does anyone with a little more experience in that have any suggestions?
