I wanted to touch base with some exciting news. We are just about to go live with a FREE, CarbonPoker specific, poker odds calculator to assist you in getting the most out of your game here with us.

As I said above, this new feature is totally free to all CarbonPoker players. All you have to do is log in to your player admin, and then select ‘Poker Tools’ from the left navigation bar.

Once you have completed the download, and installed the program, it will begin tracking all your play live from the time you begin using it. From then on, the longer you use it, the more benefits you will have.

I’ve taken a look at this program, and I am truly impressed with how slick this is.

I assume this also works for Aced and PDC?

Does it work on pdc?

This works on CarbonPoker, PDC Poker and Aced only.

Interesting tool how is multitabling?

Does this conflict with HM/PT?

This tool works great while multitabling. I suggest using the mini view with the HUD enabled. You can open as many instances of the tool as you like.

This won't conflict with any other tool.

Looks remarkably similar to Holdem Indicator. Is this from same maker?

Looks like a great tool. However this is a double sided blade, it might make the fish better...

Certain players wouldn't know or get 3rd party tools, but when it is part of the poker site it is easily available to everyone.

Don't add any more tools that make the average player get better unless you are also lowering the rake. As a player trying to win, I need BAD players and/or extremely low rake. So CarbonChris when exactly is the rake being lowered???

While I can understand your opinion to a point, we are always striving to make CarbonPoker the best place to play on the Merge Network. We feel this includes giving our players access to the best possible tools available, if they so wish.

Keep in mind that these tools are readily available all over the internet, and are also marketed heavily to most players on a daily basis, and they still do not take up usage. Therefore, not all players who have access to this product will necessarily use it.

That being said, we feel that the features offered by this product, especially the hand replayer, fill a hole that is currently evident in the standard gaming client.

On an end note, we have no bearing over the rake charged, as it is wholly determined by Merge directly.

this is horrible...rule #1 DONT EDUCATE THE FISH, and now they have a free hud/odds calc right in front of them

Spoken to many regs about this. Most disagree with the way you're looking at it. If something like this brings in players to the skin/network as opposed to playing on another network, and the recreational players don't use/don't use properly/forget about the odds calculator, it's makes for a much better situation for the regs with more fish to play against.

Simply having access to a HUD(not that they didn't already have access to software like this) doesn't automatically make a player better overnight.
