Since we plan on these updates being of a much higher quality than the Star Wars prequels, sometimes taking extra time is needed.

I hope the new tournament lobby window contains the end time. Often when I played a tourney on another site pre-BF, I would go to yesterday's completed version of the same tournament and check how long it took. I would like to know before I register what kind of time commitment I am looking at.

Still amazed the people at Merge couldn't fix the rebuy issue. No way it wasn't the number 1 or 2 complaint about the software. 14 months and still not resolved, BUT, it's scheduled in the first update after 6.0 is launched.

While you are most certainly correct, it was probably the most complained about issue, that does not mean that it is easily resolved.
Keep in mind that the 6.0 software release has been a long time in the planning, and took up all the dev time of the available resources. I am not trying to make excuses for them, but I can imagine why and how this has happened.
Now that 6.0 is finished, they can free up dev time for these other issues. I believe that the rebuy issue is now #1 priority for the dev guys.

Ha, well I hope that would be the case! But seriously, just tell us what you guys are planning. Dragging it out like this is just silly.

All in due time. A little more patience shouldn't be too tough.

Sorry, but this is just embarrassing.
Bring your entire programming team into the office and collectively fire them. Then fire who ever hired them. Replace them all with individuals who are capable of doing their jobs

I doubt we'll do that, but if you have some constructive criticism you'd like to share, we're all ears.

What specifically are you not impressed with?
I am definitely interested to hear constructive feedback on all the updates to the software, and will ensure that it is passed along to those that can affect change.
The updates posted here represent only a small number of those that are being implemented with 6.0.

Guys,
Lets keep this thread for specific input/feedback directly related to the features being released and discussed in relation to the 6.0 software release.
If you have ideas, suggestions or rants about what is missing, or what you would like to see in upcoming releases, please use this thread.
I will move all posts unrelated to the 6.0 release.

Will the 6.0 HH require a update to HM1/HM2?

Re: *****CarbonPoker Version 6.0 Software - Coming in June!****MORE PICS @ POST #45
What you've added looks really nice tbh! but the time frame in which it was delivered is both embarrassing and unbelievable. After all this time (PRE BLACK FRIDAY???) this is all there is to show for the BIG update? If you're not gonna fire the team, you better light a fire under their asses or slash their pay in a huge way cause they're not doing very much work.
If this is all we're getting in terms of features there better be a LONG list of bug fixes. Your program seems inefficient from the bottom up...it uses too much cpu power (not an issue these days, but still..), there's a ram leak and it uses a lot after awhile, graphical glitches are very common, etc.

In the feature game expander, is the lag fixed? The current lobby takes something like a ridiculous 20 seconds to update, so can you comment on the performance of the features in 6.0?

Obviously you're entitled to critique what you'd like, and we all would have preferred to have it out earlier, but it probably makes sense to without judgement on the update(beyond what we've announced) until after it actually comes out. There are going to be lots of bug fixes, and hopefully if anything else comes up with the new software we can either catch it in beta testing or address it quickly.
