Yeah, in my experience over the last 6 years in the industry, its usually the things that sound the easiest that are the most difficult to implement.

I'm not going to pretend that I know why these things are so difficult, but I know that the development guys find challenges in the most unusual of places.

I'm excited to see the Version 6.0 Software.

Will this version get rid of the unnecessary SNG popups? They quite literally reduce the max number of tables I can handle.

I know I could just wait and see, but I am curious.

Also, do you know the exact launch date?

So, Merge has been working on 6.0 since BF and all they have come up with is some lobby and filter changes?

I, and many others here I'm sure, hate to take out our merge frustrations on you or chris, cause none of these things are your faults. In fact, you guys have been terrific, it's the rest of the merge staff and their unusual behavior that throws me into an occasional fit from time to time!

It is definitely a difficult situation for Merge also. They are developing software for a whole bunch of different clients to use, and have to take in feedback from a large number of sources.......that being said, don't get me wrong, I fully agree that there are holes in some of the processes they have in place, I am just trying to put things into perspective a little bit.

They are, and have been in the past, very good at responding to our ideas and opinions on how to improve these things, it can just take a little while at times.

I hope one of the features fixes the 'bug' where there are empty tables with 13 on the waiting list. It doesn't get much more frustrating than wanting to play full ring and sitting at a table with 3 others and nobody from the 10 player waiting list joins in to fill up the table.

I don't think this is a bug. You can choose how many people you want to have at a table befor you join it. The "Bug" is that the software does not notice, that it could fullfill these requirements by sitting the waiting players down.


Please stop these pop-up messages when joining a S&G, I know that I registered, I do not need to be said. Same with the congratulatory- pop ups. Please stop it....

Can you see the player note icons you've assigned in the expanded game window?

6.0 Software Preview - Part Two

Please read below for 3 more of the many new and improved software features coming your way with the 6.0 software, due for release in the coming weeks.

Timezones:
6.0 now gives players the ability to set their local timezone rather than use the client server time. *This feature also automatically changes the listed start times for the tournaments so they are correct for whatever timezone the player sets. *We offer an extensive list of international timezones to choose by using the provided drop menu shown below.



Table Stats:
To keep on top of the action at the tables, 6.0 now features a dedicated window just for table stats. *Here players can view information such as hands dealt, hands won and flops seen. *Also, players can view percentages of pots won both pre and post flop.



New Tournament Lobby:
The tournament players haven't been forgotten in the 6.0 client. *A detailed tournament lobby page is now available for every tournament in the client.



The lobby screen contains vital information about the chosen tournament including a large clock to clearly show when the tournament starts. *Also included in the new lobby screen are the players current bankroll and VIP points and a direct link to the cashier.
