Why isn't the royal flush bonus just automatically awarded to the player's account without them having to submit it? Is it not possible for the site to automatically detect the hand and whether or not it meets the qualifications?

That would be nice, but really, look at it from their perspective aswell though

It's extra work for them to work on the client detecting it automatically, only for a losing proposition: people who don't know about the promotion would get paid then whereas now they don't. The knowing player like you still gets paid when you contact support

I had forgotten about this promo from only playing merge off and on between bouts of live games and when I found it again I tried to submit 2 older royals, about a month old each and they wouldn't pay them. (bye bye $1k, :/)

And then you have the customers who never heard about the promo so don't know to ask for it. If they had to pay every single royal the bonus they might not make the bonus as high of an amount.

Perhaps they could make the royal flush bonus an automatic payout if players were required to opt in to the promotion, like some of the others. Or if players had to earn x amount of points to activate the promotion, like the having to earn 250 pts to enter the 125 seats freeroll. Or players could need be a certain tier of the VIP system to qualify for the bonus. Something along the lines of any of these ideas might help Carbon consider automating the process without having to pay out every single one.

The rules state that the hand "must be submitted within 48 hours from hand completion".

Thanks for the idea carfire. I will pass this on to our Promotions Team, but our IT Team is a bit backed up at the moment, so I doubt they would have time to automate this. Nonetheless, I have passed this on.

Have the client alert you to the promo when you make a royal. With balloons and ****.
