Which other skin do you already have, or have had, rakeback with?

I have never used another skin on the merge network...

Hmm, well our guys have been advised that you have another account on the network, and that makes you ineligible for rakeback at this time.

Did you used to play on Lock?

Re: Rakeback is Back!

I signed up for a Carbon account back in April 2011, but I never played real cash there. But since I already have an account, what can I do to get signed up for rakeback or other types of promos? I'm only planning on doing microstakes NL so it may not matter in the end, but it'd be nice to have. User SpikeMcAwesome

Also I just sent a message to the customer support center about changing my address. I attached a copy of my most recent electric bill, but just say the word if I need to send a copy of a license or some other proof of the address.

Re: Rakeback is Back!

Can VIP points be accumulated and used on tourney tickets etc on a RB account on Carbon? Looking to deposit on merge for the first time so am unsure how all of this works.

Yes, you still earn VIP points, and can use them in our store or for tournament entries, you just can't exchange the points for cash if you have RB.

Its already been taken care of. Sorry if no one has replied so far, but I can see the email which confirms you have been moved over earlier today.

Re: Rakeback is Back!

Hey Ryan,

I sent a request to the VIP email last week but I haven't really heard back. How do I check if I have rakeback activated on my account?

Should I send you a PM with my username?

Thank you.

Re: Rakeback is Back!

I made an account a couple months ago on Carbon but never deposited. Should I still send an email to VIP to get my account switched to RB?

What does having rakeback disable us from? I presume we cannot exchange points for cash. Are we still eligible for leaderboards and whatnot?

Are we still free to sign up with RaketheRake for rakeback or is it only directly through Carbon now?

Thanks!

Only new accounts can sign up for RB through affiliates.

If you want to have your account reviewed to see if it is eligible to have rakeback added, please send an email with all your account details to viphost@carbonpoker.ag

Correct in that you can't exchange for cash (can still use them to buyin to tournaments, though). Also, if you have 35% rakeback, you acrue VIP points at a 65% rate (i.e. you only get VIP points for the rake that you don't get back), which can make it harder to do things like clear bonuses and other point-based promotions (eg. qualifying for the 125 seats to 125K freeroll), but it doesn't keep you from participating in any of them. Other than that, everything should be the same.
