Does anyone else besides myself wish that the old software was still in play? I don't really like this new version

I signed up through RTR and have just recently been approved for rakeback (I think... still no way to confirm through carbon, haven't played in a couple days), so I am wondering if there any differences between the two RB deals?

It's the same rakeback deal. Merge is the network operator. RtR is an affiliate. Merge provides the RB, and RtR is simply recruiting you to play.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the poker client since updating Quicktime? I would give that a shot and see if it does the trick.

I think you are definitely in the minority now.

The old software was definately better, i'm sure any serious player will agree to that. The new software esthetically looks better, but with all issues, lack of actual functionality, etc. yeah, they should've tested and completed 6.0 a lot more before implementing it.

edit: that being said, it is getting there with all the small updates, still totally incomprehensible how they could've implemented 6.0 the way they did imo.

Yeah, there are still some issues that need to be ironed out, I still think that overall 6.0 is greater than 5.0 hands down.

Re: Rakeback is Back!

Is rakeback automatically applied on first deposit or do I need certain bonus codes?

It depends on how you sign up... You need to sign up with a RB link or a bonus code that applies RB to your account. Who's your aff?

There was an error in the script the last couple days. It was fixed some time in the afternoon on Friday the 22nd. I know of a number of players that had an issue and all was rectified... try checking your ledger again, all should be well...

It's not in your regular history now, it's listed in a separate section. Go to Promotions->Rakeback. Only updates/credits once a day, I believe.

Re: Rakeback is Back!

Chris,

Can you check on my account to see if I am now setup for rakeback. I received a email from support to confirm that I want rakeback. I confirmed and the next thing i noticed was that my VIP points were taken off the main area on Carbon Poker. I can't get any info from the website about the process so I am at a loss. My account name is ghuber36

Thanks for the help
Garett
