Re: Rakeback is Back!

My issues were fixed, just waiting on the retro-rake from the period from when I asked to when it was fixed. Thanks for the follow up, Ryan.

If you do a quick google search, or a search of this forum, I am sure you will find an affiliate that will suite your needs.

I recently emailed Carbon and got switched to rakeback. I was under the impression the rakeback was through Carbon itself, but from what you say it sounds like it is through an affiliate. How can I find out who my affiliate is? I never picked one myself.

Hi Ryan, about how long does it take to setup the rakeback on a pre-existing account? I sent in the email a few days ago.

There's a separate section for it now. Go to Promotions->Rakeback.

Re: Rakeback is Back!

Hey Ryan,

I sent a email to raketherake to get set up for rakeback and they told me that Carbon sent them a email saying that I was tagged to someone else. I downloaded the software from Carbon Poker website. I should not have anything tagged to it. I made my first deposit on the 5th of June. My name on carbon is ghuber36. Can you tell me what I can do to get set up correctly? Thanks

Garett

Hi Garett,

Yeah, you must have still had some tracking cookies or something on your PC when you downloaded the client, which tagged you to an affiliate.

You will just need to contact support and they should be able to help you out.

Re: Rakeback is Back!

The rakeback I requested has yet to be updated. I've contacted support but haven't heard back from them yet either.

You should hear back from them soon. They have been swamped with requests recently.

Re: Rakeback is Back!

Question about the rakeback, so I have over 1500 VIP points now, would it be in my best interested to turn those into cash and then convert to Rakeback since I will more than likely lose them and won't be able to use the points to cash option again when I get switched to rakeback?

It's your call. You won't lose the points, but you're correct that you won' t be able to use the points to exchange for cash.
