CarbonPoker Rakeback Thread **Important Update - Post #724**

Hi all,

The decision has been made to bring rakeback back as of June 1st 2012. As with when it was previously offered on the network, the max rate for players will be 35% rakeback.

Players who have signed up when rakeback was not allowed, now have the option to move to rakeback from the VIP program if they wish to. We are able to manually add it to their account.

Players who wish to move across to rakeback instead of the VIP program can do so by emailing us at viphost@carbonpoker.ag with the following format:

Subject: VIP to Rakeback

Body:

Real Name --
CarbonPoker Player ID --

Once we receive your request, it will be processed after June 1st once the changes can be made.

We know many of you have been asking for this for quite some time, and are pleased that we are now able to fulfil your request.

Hi minbet,

Rakeback will be paid daily, just as it was previously.

I'm not 100% sure. I have sent off an email asking for clarification, and will reply once I know.

No, we will be staying with the weighted contributed method of calculating rake. Lock have said they are also going to be moving from dealt to contributed.

Yeah, Lock have said somewhere in their forum that Cake currently calculates rake on the dealt method, but they are wanting to change it over to contributed method.

Yes, you will only be able to get rakeback at one skin at a time.

You cannot have earned revenue at another skin for 60 days before being able to get rakeback on your current skin.

In the event that you already had rakeback at your initial skin, it will be removed from that skin once you wait the 60 days and have it activated on your new skin.
