Re: CarbonPoker/Merge Fixed Limit Rake Structure Suggestions

I suggest that you LOWER it. your company makes too much money from your structure. we, as players are the sole reason that your company makes money, and your structure for this particular game does not reflect that fact. you look greedy, in my eyes. if you don't give the players what they want, in part due to your realization that poker players are a fragmented and unorganized group, then you are no more than a shady corporation with no more than profit on your mind.

And as a fact, immoral companies have immoral workers, b/c it is the issues in the world that matter, not the monetary values associated with them.

It's sad that online poker sites haven't adjusted rake structures in LHE in the post-Party Poker era. Get rid of VIP benefits altogether for LHE, lower the rake so that the top players can make something respectable and force players in this game to make their money in the net column, not rakeback

l was beginning to think that LHE might just fade away at Merge. But l'm sure glad Merge considered this issue, listened to the players and something is being worked on to keep LHE alive and likely thrive. Lowering the rake is just what the LHE doctor ordered. Lets grind.

It's about time Merge paid attention to its highest MGR earners!

They pay attention to all players; just some things take longer to implement than others.

I wanted to give everyone an update that we are still pressing hard on this and as soon as we receive any information, we will post it.

Thanks for your patience.

It's a shame you are still "pressing hard" on this issue. I thought it was a done deal.

There are other networks offering much better deals for the limit players. I suggest limit players make the move now and quit wasting your money waiting for some relief that may or may not ever come. Each day you continue to play on Merge is money wasted when you could be playing somewhere else that doesn't penalize the limit players so severely.

Most have made the move already. They got tired of waiting on promises.

Let's try to focus on the positive. I think it's a good thing that Ryan is here communicating with us and trying to make the FL players happy. Soon we will hear news of what changes have been made, and at that point we can make an assessment of the real choices we have.

Re: CarbonPoker/Merge Fixed Limit Rake Structure Suggestions

There already are real choices out there so why wait? Playing limit on Merge is just wasting money each day you do. You can always come back later if they make a positive change. You have to do what's best for you. If something costs four times more at store A than at store B you aren't going to continue to buy it at store A for the rest of your life are you, even if your brother owns the store.
