Great to hear and thank you for all the work. I play at another skin, (sorry), but I don't really want to say thanks for the work. All players should appreciate your efforts, and perhaps there will be a time I play here.

If by "generally slow customer support" you mean nonexistent or 1-man-show, I would agree with you 100%.

If by "reportedly slow cashouts" you mean cashouts that have been pending since they went to their new network, then I think you are painting a more accurate picture.

Let's face it; it is very easy to charge the lowest rake and hand out tons of promotional money if the operation in question is not legitimate. Holding a legit site to the same margin standards as a questionable site does not seem like a valid comparison at all.

Completely false. General questions get answered within minutes for me. (always faster than on Carbon for me so far) Some other questions, which get forwarded to other departments, such as their cashier related things, take several days. (always slower than on Carbon for me so far)

First hand experience, overall: Carbon support is obviously better: the important things get answered in a equally timely manner as the less important things.

Definately not a 1-man show, however.

I've read about several issues here of it taking very long. Each and every time i've seen the OP of these threads on 2+2 however come back and update his/her post saying he/she got paid eventually.

I have no own experience yet with cashouts on Lock. I requested a 2k cashout on Lock the same day as i requested a 200$ cashout on Carbon (1 august) both using Skrill. We'll see which one goes fastest, i'm going to assume Carbon's will, but i'll definately take a few days, possibly even weeks delay compared to the thousands of $'s i pay less in rake at Lock. Again, given everyone reports back and states they do eventually get paid, i won't mind the wait that much.

Lock isn't on Merge any more, which seems to have been Mycroft's question

I appreciate your effort there, Mccormick but again I will emphatically state that there is no legitimate comparison between the two sites. One operates professionally while the other is an absolute circus right now.

Re: CarbonPoker/Merge Fixed Limit Rake Structure Suggestions

oh well, i'll take a site with much inferior customer support, but where i pay very literally thousands of $'s less for the service than the expensive, "professional" customer support. Especially as a LHE player.. to me it's very literally the difference between breaking even on Merge with ridiculous rake, and making tons of money on Revolution.

Edit: that being said, the situation i'm describing here is probably exactly why they're planning on finally doing something about it - +1 for Merge there i guess. I don't see them ever giving a better deal than Lock's current one however, but maybe it'll still be enough to bring people like me back over to the more trustworthy, reputable site.

Glad to hear that an agreement was reached! I'm excited to see what types of changes were made. Thanks for the hard work.
